Yes. And Moby Dick predicted the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin as well. It's been proven. Mathematically, it has been proven that any sufficiently large volume of literature put into a pre-planned matrix can 'predict' just about anything you need it to predict.

The Bible Codes are hogwash and have been proven to be so.

You might find this interesting:

A number of years back, before desktop computers, I used Strong's, paper and a thing called a pencil to apply patterns to lottery numbers based on the order they fell and assigning their numerical values to Hebrew and Greek letters.

My theory was that since God spoke all things into existence, all things have an associated dialogue.

What made this interesting is that there were actually full phrases formulated instead of just single or double word groups. I would apply completion of those phrases based on related scripture.

No big jackpot - lol - but the return was higher than what I spent.

Point being that random drawings proved more articulate than bible codes.

Shame on those who think this is science. BIblical science is to study the 2500 quotes of the OT by the NT to see what patterns exist. God had ordered that all prophetic material is to glorify the GOspel of Christ so that the nations can believe and obey, says Rom 16. THat's the thing about the Bible: finding its own self-declarations abuot what it is for, including prophecy.
