You see, I have been wondering how to show ppl
the bible is in fact inspired by God. It has bothered me until now. I was
reading in acts where paul said "if haply they may feel after him...". It hit
me that a person can feel the conviction of God even if they don't trust the
scriptures because God will prick their heart. And if they accept the
conviction then God will move in and the spirit in them at that time will
convince them the bible is true. But God reminded me of the scripture where
they have their conscience seared. That means they would feel nothing. With no conviction they are free to go as deep into sin as they wish. Now I will
get to what I wanted to. In 2 Thessalonians 2:7 when speaking of the anti-
christ it speaks of the mystery of iniquity. It finaly hit me. The mystery of
iniquity is a searing prosses. It said it already works. And slowly denying
God will sear a persons conscience. So then there is conviction as long as
the person is not fully seared.
Have you (like me) ever planed to do something but the word of God stoped you? But God showed that all would be preached the gospell. That means even the man of sin. I believe there is still a pricking going on. But one day the man of sin will no longer be hindered by the spirit of God and the conviction He brings. It will be because his conscience will have finaly been totaly seared. This is a great warning to us I believe. It showes us how after time and denying the conviction of God we too can become so hardened that We will no longer feel the pull of God. But rather as it is said "He gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts". I am sry for taking up your time. God had just showed me these things and I wanted to tell someone.
