CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Again the Lord has answered my prayers this week from being in a state of confusion earlier in the week he has opened my eyes and showed the truth.

Praise Him! He is soooooooo awesome. He is working and moving mightilly around my "world" too. Thank You Lord for answered prayer with Megan and her Mom and for teaching me -- little by little -- how to trust You completely and totally and for showing me the things I need to let go of!

Last week, I had asked for prayer about a breast MRI that I had on 5/24. It turns out I have benign cysts, and the doctor says they are nothing to worry about.

I wrote a request out for prayer earlier this week, and many of you followed it up with prayer, and one particular member really blessed me the following day as she sent me a second PM asking how I was, my depression has lifted alot as I told her and Im almost back to normal. Thanks to all who prayed and PRAISE THE LORD.

There was a thread yesterday about snow run-off and flooding because of odd weather in Utah. Many prayed, as did I, because we had the same situation here in northern California.
Today the weather outside is amazing. It's very cool, almost cold with a cloud cover. Perfect for letting the snow melt gradually and ease the flooding problems. I'm hoping the same thing has happened in Utah. BTW yesterday it was around 87 degrees and sunny.

Hallelujah, Praise your name Lord, I'd like to let you all know that yet again Gog has answered my prayers.
It may seem little to you all but to me its massive. I've wanted to give up smoking for a week now and asked the Lord to help in whatever way was right, well from two weeks ago I had no desire to give up, then from Wednesday I suddenly got excited at trying to give up to walk with the Lord properly, anyway today I managed 6 hours without a cigarrette and trusted the Lord with it by going to my church, not having one before or after it or at the tea break we usually have. Well I had the normal 3 cravings but got through them all not even touching one as aswell I deliberately didn't take any with me and just trusted the Lord, anyway I did it!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!! So now everytime I go out I won't be taking any with me. It may not sound much to you all but for a 40 a day person its an answer to prayer.

Lord again today you've saved me from death, after my whole body being poisened by an infection in my blood, I was told if I hadn't told anyone the symptons I've been having I could have died in less than a month and I had no idea of this, I was healed of cancer 12 weeks ago, and had obviously picked up a serious infection giving me bad pain at times, high blood pressure and high temperature, I thought nothing off it until I was rushed in hospital and underwent emergency test and scans. After praying in hospital many times I have now been given everything needed to kill off this blood poisening and am on the mend. Thank-you Father for just being you and saving me from death!
