CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

lord i pray for each and every person on here and i pray you will touch them in a mighty way heal them in thier bodys if they are sick,cover them under your blood protect them and keep them safe from all harm,hurt,and danger in your name,lord raise these people up and use them for your glory.take them higher in you,your word,give them understanding of you ways,let them live for you and serve you always.happy thanksgiving everybody be encouraged praying for everyone god bless

Father I pray for everyone on here. You know our every needs Lord. Please give us Healing, salvation, peace , joy, wisdom, Lord you know our every needs. Let your will be done. Please help us to trust in you and to walk by faith and not by sight in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!!

Endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ
Father, my God, I praise you for new and tender mercies every day. Not a day passes by without your love showing through in our needs. You answer even our unspoken prayers. Praise you for who you are Lord. My Master, I am awed at the work of your love and mighty Spirit in my life as I see you work in my husband's life. Thank you for bringing him the conviction of knowing and believing you sent your Son to die for him on the cross. Thank you for showing me the miracle of his submitting to your will. I pray we will walk this path together in your grace in humility and love and that I will be the woman and wife you want me to be. I pray that he will be the man you want him to be and to head our home under your authority. I praise you for your goodness which never diminishes. Thank you for each and every answered prayer and for answering unspoken needs. My God who is like you, there is none my Father. Praise be to your name. Amen.

Father you are the creator of life and everyhting and there is nothing impossable for your tasks and your glory. I have a praise to report. I went to the dentist for the first time in 4 years and I was very nervous about it, but it went well and I have no cavities! Praise be to God! I am very, very grateful.

Abba, Thank you for taking care of my dear friend. You are her creator and first love. You have heard the prayers of your servants and have answered them. You have blessed her with peace over the past two months and I believe have great and wonderful plans ahead for my friend and her husband. Through nature and revelation, through His providence, and by the influence of His Spirit, God speaks to us. But these are not enough; we need also to pour out our hearts to Him. In order to have spiritual life and energy, we must have actual intercourse with our heavenly Father. Our minds may be drawn out toward Him; we may meditate upon His works, His mercies, His blessings; but this is not, in the fullest sense, communing with Him. Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him. Prayer does not bring God down to us, but brings us up to Him. {CSA 26.3}
When Jesus was upon the earth, He taught His disciples how to pray. He directed them to present their daily needs before God, and to cast all their care upon Him. And the assurance He gave them that their petitions should be heard, is assurance also to us. {CSA 26.4}
Jesus Himself, while He dwelt among men, was often in prayer. Our Saviour identified Himself with our needs and weakness, in that He became a suppliant, a petitioner, seeking from His Father fresh supplies of strength, that He might come forth braced for duty and trial. He is our example in all things. He is a brother in our infirmities, in all points tempted like as we are; but as the sinless one His nature recoiled from evil; He endured struggles and torture of soul in a world of sin. His humanity made prayer a necessity and a privilege. He found comfort and joy in communion with His Father. And if the Saviour of men, the Son of God, felt the need of

prayer, how much more should feeble, sinful mortals feel the necessity of fervent, constant prayer. 47 {CSA 26.5}
The darkness of the evil one encloses those who neglect to pray. The whispered temptations of the enemy entice them to sin; and it is all because they do not make use of the privileges that God has given them in the divine appointment of prayer. Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heavens storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence? Without unceasing prayer and diligent watching we are in danger of growing careless and of deviating from the right path. . . . {CSA 27.1}
There are certain conditions upon which we may expect that God will hear and answer our prayers. One of the first of these is that we feel our need of help from Him. . . . The heart must be open to the Spirits influence, or Gods blessing cannot be received. . . . {CSA 27.2}

Thankyou Father for all the personal blessings you have given. For a heart tender to you, for the air we breath, for the food we eat, for the rain and sunshine, for your sanctuary.
Thankyou for giving me a brain to search out why I was sick and bleeding (peanut paste) and giving me the will to stop eating it.
Thank you for showing me how to activate my will (by just saying "I choose" in the sentence of what I want to stop doing or do that which is good) to stop smoking and to remove the desire for alcohol and all stimulants.
Thankyou that my hands have stopped shaking and my head is clear.
I pray for the blessings you will give to the reader, more than you have given to me.

Thanks be to God for answering my prayers regarding a recent move into a new church service. Thanks be to the Lord for opening doors for both my husband and me and providing a safe place to worship, good Word, fellowship, and fine leadership. Most of all for the peace which passes understanding. All an answer to prayers I asked here for strength, grace, wisdom, and guidance. My heartfelt thanks to those who prayed and for all who are so faithful to care and pray here. It was very encouraging.
