Shall I answer your questions?

(Did you know you're not supposed to keep posting without letting other folks post inbetween, & that's why I'm going to wait to respond again, and that I might not have remembered to come back if BarbaraJean had not so generously invited me?)

(Can I assume that's a yes?)

Have you ever had a layered pie-like dessert with crust so light & flakey & melt-in-your mouth that the little pieces of nut seem to melt in your mouth too?

Mmmmm, is it sugar free?

And even if you don't like meringue, the meringue was so sweet and perfect that it melted in your mouth?

And inbetween was a warm comfort-food filling that was almost vanilla and almost lemon but not quite either one?

And has a friend ever given you a sweet, warm, light, melt-in-your-mouth dessert so incredible that you stopped crying about the stubborn man you married (who's in another room drinking coffee and eating Fritos and griping about the weird woman he married and the stupid marriage counselor you just saw) and you ate and periodically went, "mmmmmmmmmmmmmm" . . . and then she went and made another one without mentioning that the one you were offered a slice of and you accidentally ate most of was supposed to go to a Bible Study?
