Did it ever occur to you that when I asked you if you had ideas about tile grout that I was not interested in hearing about tile grout but rather interested in you, that is, knowing whether you were the type of person who would have ideas about tile grout, because it could be that I'm an admirer of Sun Tzu who said "know your enemy" or more completely "if you know your enemy and know yourself you need not fear the result of a hundred battles" which, granted, makes it sound like I consider you an enemy and of course I don't but I've been around this world long enough to know that life can throw you curve balls and you never know what the future holds, and when I was a Boy Scout our motto was "be prepared", so if you and I ever have to go to war it's entirely conceivable that it could turn out to be useful information to know that you're the type of person who has ideas about tile grout, although the more I think about it that may not be conceivable at all, so maybe it was really unnecessary and actually kind of strange to ask you if you have ideas about tile grout?
