  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

yikes!! i have lots!!

i have: psalms 127:1-2, & psalms 126. 126 because it talks about how the lord has done great things for me, cuz' i was a dreamer. those who sow in tears, will reap w/songs of joy... i love that one, and he who goes out weeping (crying) carrying seed to sow (working--& working hard) will return with songs of joy, carying sheaves (huge harvest) w/him... amen..

the hard workers will be rewarded, the dreamers will have dreams come true with big laughter and huge joy... i love that..

the other one, is unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. in vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat--for he grants sleep to those he loves.

this is one of my favorite verses, because it was a huge reminder to me.. there was a time when i was working literally, 120 hours a week. and i was so tired all the time, of course. and i was trying to pay debts and bills off.. this scripture kept me going, and kept me begging to be pleasing to God in my work, not pleasing to me.. i really feel like God blessed me in the end, even tho there were days when i thought that God must have surely turned his back on me... it seemed that i worked and worked, and yet what i had accounted for nothing.. my paychecks were swallowed up in bills debt bills debt... (my debt was at 70,000....and i had no house, nor a car to show for it...) but one day God gave me a car. God gave me a house. and none of the money i worked so hard for paid for that house & car... some would be bitter.. i am just grateful grateful grateful.. and relieved... :) long answer, huh.. lol!!!

very great testimony! I loved it and since I didnt' see your question, I think I will expound on what the scripture means to me.: unless the Lord build the house, he that labor, labor in vain....

It reminded me of a time when my husband and I was on the edge of divorce, where he told me he loved another woman... the Lord showed me it was the devil trying steal my marriage, and to fight. He showed me to battle, but LET HIM TO BUILD THE HOUSE back up...so that we would have a marriage built on the rock. This day we have the bEST marriage, and God has done so many awesome things in our lives.

share a experience where God spoke to you, and gave you a scripture to stand on.
