CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"Got a prayer through"? The Bible tells me that as a Christian, as long as I don't hold onto unconfessed sin , all of my prayers get through.

My husband keeps the radio on in his office, and my office is just outside his. So...I hear it all day. But, I'm not really listening to it. I like to listen to it in the car though.

lol !!! i would suggest that you get a cd of a radio story, or a book, not a singer--since evidently are not really interested in music ... maybe.. if wrong, let me know and i will apologize profusely.
since you seem to like science fiction, i would recommend the "group" in the firefly series, and you could listen to it like it reads from a book...
now, i would have recommended robert jordan, but he drags on and on about descriptions of lands and clothing, for books at a time...
but tad williams is really good.. the sword series is great!
