  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There are only one or two books that I have read more than once.
The one was White Oleander - Janet Fitch (if I remember correctly). The movie didn't do it justice.
The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. I think I will definitely read these again.

What is happening in the next week that you are most looking forward too?

I don't do laundry. Now before you get the wrong idea I have to admit that my mom still does it for me. I stay in a little garden flat and don't really have space, let alone for a washing machine. I really am blessed.

what is your favourite item of jewelry

5 to 9?? Crikey! I usually have an intake of 3 or 4 servings a day but I'm practically always cooking and eating fresh healthy meals to stay healthy without getting fat and out of shape.

What's the nonprofit nondenominational Christian organization that builds simple, decent, affordable housing for those who lack adequate shelter... and have you ever volunteered with or donated to them?

Habitat for Humanity? No. I would love to be the kind of person who did noble stuff like that. But, I'm seriously phobic of people. And, no, I don't donate to them either, I'm poor. I do, when I get a little extra that I can spare, donate to childrens charities though.

Do you spend a lot of time beating yourself up over your idiosyncrasies?

I believe it is morally unjustifiable to create a tier system when helping people who are suffering, as a result my help would be directed towards those worst hit regardless of background or position.

what is your favourite colour and why?

^ good answer :) :amen:

Green, i think, because it reminds me of life on Earth, all of the vegetation that grows with the right weather, it can be so beautiful! green symbolizes life to me, not human life, just life and in many places it symbolizes the rotation of seasons and we all go through seasons ourselves, winter and coldness is often replaced by renewed life, both on the planet in our lives!

I can understand self-defense but... How can some people just point a gun at someone and blow them away without any regard for their life whatsoever???

Mostly walking or biking. Have you ever heard how I had to walk 10 miles up hill both ways, bare feet on the snow.........?

I struuggle at work to be a blessing to someone who tries to cause me problems.
How would you be a blessing in this situation?

Happy Birthday FitMom!!!

Oh good night! I've been in that situation myself. Okay...after I lose a few nights sleep plotting my eevil revenge, I usually just say something nice to them. And try not to react when they're a snot. You would be surprised how many people are not actually jerks as part of their core personality, but are actually only acting that way because of some hurt feelings their harboring, or some other easily understandable normal human feeling. Hurting people, hurt people. Once you understand that...it's a little easier to have empathy for the snots of this world. (not all are just hurt...some are eevil seeking harbingers of darkness. Those I don't even give the time of day...I just turn and walk away. You know the type...they make your blood run cold. It's like they have no soul.)

I yammered on a bit. Sorry. People...get me talking about interpersonal relationships and I'll have something to say. That's for sure.

Let's see...for a question...
What is you're favorite color (or colors) to wear in the Fall?
