After talking to my friend about her being saved, she told me that she wanted to be saved and the understands that she needs to be saved to make it to Heaven. The problem is that she dosen't have the desire in her heart to do it now. What should people do when they WANT to be saved, but they don't feel it in their hearts? Are there any biblical scriptures that deal with this? What are your opinions?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

First it is necesary to understand that salvation is not based on feelings. Salvation is a matter of choice, and a conscious decision.
If your friend knows she needs to be saved and knows she must be saved in order to go to heaven then she must make that choice to act on this knowledge.
John 6:37 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."
That is a guarantee from Jesus that He will save you.
In Joshua God told us to Choose this day whom we will serve.
