CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Absolute plot?
I'm already finishing it up. it's a setting with a colonial America feel. like Daniel Boone, but no guns. Not many warrior types running around in the beginning. Magic exists, but in very subtle form. i do have a predefined direction, and plenty I'm keeping hidden. But i leave it very fuzzy.

by absolute plots I mean like "The King in his impenitrible castle put a curse on the land that all men must work for his army or be sacrificed to the evil dragon who is waiting hungrily in his back yard. None could ever defeat this King for his magic was undefeatable. But then there was a farm boy in a far away land who only wanted to care for his lands and as he grew older he became a strong lad. The people of the village were sure he'd be a prized addition to the King's army. Until, one day he ran away only to return 10 years later to kill the tirant king!" yada yada yada.

Oh, right... Well, I have both the main character and the villain... but that is because I'vee developed them to such a complicated degree, noone but me could get a hold of them.

LOL. I have the other hand. I find it physically impossible to move continually. Unless I'm doing karate. I can run around slapping people on here.

They're not big fidgety movements. Just my foot tapping or my fingers moving. I don't handle being bored/unproductive well. I have to be doing SOMETHING, even if it's not a grand something. That's why I doodle. The only exception is during a really good movie or book. Then I freeze.

What's considered productive depends on the person. I study a lot. I don't think I'm going back to college, but I read books on .advanced theories. I don't know what I'll do with all this, though.

Make kick-butt novels with theoretically sound plots... unlike a lot of the trash floating about nowadays. What did you go to college for in the first place?
*cough* Er, actually I'm a tad rhythmically challenged. I can do the old stuff (I'm talking Charles Dickens old) if it's well-choreographed, but other than that...

I could never do karate. I think you need to be self discipilined or something, and you have to always be quiet and move so gracefully.
I am to much of a clutz to do anything like that, I would try to do a kick and end killing someone.

I haven't been able to make it through a fiction novel in ... uhhhhh ... wow ..... over a year. I just paid my friend's girlfriend to put all my books into a database on my computer, It shows I own 72 books by 36 authors from 35 publishers. Half might be fiction. How do you define butt-kickin'? Like, highly combative?
I can teach you from my computer. It's called lectures, videos, and you in front of a mirror. You'd just have to find somebody to try the locks and hold breaks with. Though I am still a wimpy little yellow belt.
