I haven't been able to make it through a fiction novel in ... uhhhhh ... wow ..... over a year. I just paid my friend's girlfriend to put all my books into a database on my computer, It shows I own 72 books by 36 authors from 35 publishers. Half might be fiction. How do you define butt-kickin'? Like, highly combative?

I can teach you from my computer. It's called lectures, videos, and you in front of a mirror. You'd just have to find somebody to try the locks and hold breaks with. Though I am still a wimpy little yellow belt.

No. Like making the reader sit through the whole thing, eyes wide, fingers clenched, only to get to the end and want to scream "HOLY FREAKIN' COW THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!" I've read a few of those. Other cool ones leave me in a daze for days as I pick apart and reconstruct everything, trying to imagine all the little things they didn't tell me, all the hidden thoughts and reactions. I have to be careful not to read those during Finals.

Oooooooooooooooh. Cool! There's going to be a RAD class (self-defense) in February. It'd be nice not to be completely clueless until then :-D

Cool. Then I get to talk, right? I don't know what style that class teaches, but there are many similarities. Can you make a fist? Where do you put your thumb when you do?

In my style, the thumb goes alongside the fist. Do you know ASL? Flute does. Look up the letter 'a'. That's a fist in isshin-ryu karate. It is very easy to do, and allows you to open and close yoour hand quickly. Also, if you curl back the thumb from the first joint (behind the nail) you can poke at sensitive spots on the body.

You see, originally I was CyberCheat, but when I became aware that the name had certain... innuendos... attached to it, I changed it to HOLY KNIGHT. That didn't stick long, as every time someone wanted to yell at me they had to call me HOLY. Yeah. I know. So then the Great and Mightily Awesome Paladin Dave deemed my new name 'The Cheat', with two spaces between 'The' and 'Cheat'. Approximately three months later I discovered this nacho abomination of which you speak.
