CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was just curious. I personally think they are cool when done well, and (please dont freak out) attractive when girls do them just right.
I only find them creepy at certain times, but usually they are just as cool as creepy. One good example is this guy from Soul Calibur 2. He's a nobleman (rapier style fighting, my favorite character), and has a proud, noble, refined, yet cocky and cheerful disposition.(and he is a bit nuts... for real, he's on the brink of insanity, but it makes him even cooler) But at the end, if you go through the game with him, he finds a demonic weapon that supposedly possesses men when they use it. I will leave out why he wants it, but when he finds it, nothing cocky, or proud, or witty, just, "So this... is soul edge....*cue VERY creepy evil laugh.*" It was well done, yet it isnt all that done up. Starts out quiet, and gets louder for the 5 seconds he does it, but it is very dark and menacing, and just sends a shiver up your spine.
