CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Morning!*cricket sound* Crud, I'm all alone.
Hey, can you guys pray for me? I am driving downtown today, and I am going on my own for a lecture at the museum. Your prayers would be most appreciated, as I need to concentrate on where I am going and make sure I dont botch up in any of the traffic.
Reminds me of part of a tv show my bro was watching. There was this really big fella who was dropping his little brother off at a neighbor's place(both had surprisingly good and poetic speech and vocabulary) to go into town and grab some milk.
Older Bro:Here, before I leave, I wish for you to have my watch.(hands little bro his watch) It is a little slow. Hopefully, I will not be.
Little bro: God speed, dear brother of mine.(they hug and the older one is out the door.)

BTW, I read your journal last night(I hope you dont mind), and couldnt help but notice your mention of goofing off in public. I do ALL my goofing off in public. Mostly at youth group and stuff. Its not quite as......... I cant think of a word, but its not like what we do on CF(except this one time in the summer when my best friend and I actually had a pillow fight. I was up on his bed, huddled behind two pillows and using them for protection, trying to catch the blanket he was whipping me with so I could smack him in the face with it. It was hilarious, and about the most fun we had all week. Ok, maybe not all week....)

I did but its so extraordinarily freaky that it needed to be said again 
And I don't care in the least. I knew ppl would read it
Ooooo pillow fight! We did that once... but we were so rough Summer cried and that was the end of that But yeah, I just can't be goofy in public. Shyness or whatever. Home, always. I think Tiffany's B-day party (that and spinning around in circles in the backlot) are the only examples of recent goofiness.

See, my youth group is full of homeschoolers, and two of the guys there are even more goofy than me. They're a frikin riot man. Oh man, I took algebra class with these 2 guys one year, and at the christmas party for that year, for the place where they had all of these classes, these two slow danced together to that "santa baby" song. It was hilarious, and one of my friends said she got it on tape. We promised the guys we would show it to their fiance's on their wedding nights, Hrahahahahahahaaa!!!
That same girl sent me this thing in the email that was all of these wacky holidays and ____ week things, and this week was Internation Flirting Week(along with many other things) and I was like, "Flirting week? Yeehaw! I just gotta find someone who wont slap me for flirting with them and... wait a minute.... aw man, that only leaves Richard and Nate!(those guys I mentioned earlier)"

Oh gosh. We have guys at church like that. Stephen and Evan to be precise. When we had the church yard sale and everyone was sorting clothing we all dressed up. Grab a shirt and mismatched pair of pants, slap on a funky hat and you're good to go! They went for the dresses. The spaghetti strap dresses. With high heels. I was scarred for life. lol.Of course Steven and his bro Nate and Luke(woah another freaky Nate) were the ones that did the weird thing for Nate's wedding. Nate sang Harry Connick Junior's song ( i don't know the name but it starts out "I know you so well..."). Nate sang and Steven and Luke acted it out. Luke grabbed Steven, put his hand around his mouth and dipped him down and kissed him (really it was his hand but it looked kinda real). Everyone was laughing hysterically.
