How am I wrong?Yes, so where is your evidence that Dean was lying ? If it's that video about the football field your wrong.
why say that the field was flat when it wasn't?
How am I wrong?
If the flatness or curvature of the football field had nothing to do with what he was talking about, why even mention it? However, the curvature of the field explains why, as the man walked away from the camera, his legs disappeared. Dean said this was caused by perspective, but perspective would make the whole man appear smaller. It wouldn't cause his legs to disappear while the rest of him was still in full view. It is similar to what you have sometimes said about sunset being caused by perspective. Again, it isn't, because the sun doesn't appear small and smaller as it sets, but fraction by fraction, it disappears below the horizon. Why wouldn't he, it's what I would have said.

Why wouldn't he lie, you mean? Why wouldn't he, it's what I would have said.
It was not the very first try; you have already been told this more than once.Yet this is exactly what NASA did with its "amazing Moon travel technology" that worked flawlessly on the very first try.
Yes, it is in Post 222 of this thread: Flat Earthers: What They Believe and WhyI would have to watch the video again to comment do you have a link ?

The link that I posted before was a list of all space missions from about late 1950. Many of them failed - they kept trying until they succeeded.
I can't repost it from my tablet - Google it.
because it isn't true.Why wouldn't he,
Then you would also be lying.it's what I would have said.
He just has!Thank you for this but I don't have the time to search through this video for one little clip.
Can't you just find the clip and link it ?
Then you would also be lying.
You didn't give any explanation of how I am wrong. In the video, Dean claims that the person is not disappearing due to the curvature of the playing field when in fact the person is disappearing due to the curvature of the playing field. Dean claims, "that's how our eyes work" when in fact that is not how our eyes work. Dean makes multiple false claims in the clip. Making false claims is lying, and when someone corrected him, he took offence that someone would dare question him as an 'elder'.See post above.
He just has!
He was informed of his 'error' shortly after his debate, so even if he thought it was flat then, he knows better now, but he has not removed the clip or posted an apology or a retraction. He has left the video unchanged on his website without any amendation or commentary. Thus he perpetuates falsehood. Not knowing any different, no I would not be lying.
The link in that post takes you straight to that part of the video. Perhaps it is a problem with your computer.I mean the exact clip, the video in question is far too long to go through to find it.
