So you believe them when they talk about the distance of the stars from earth, but not when they include planets?
Yes, I have no choice.

What; evidence like, "here's a YouTube clip which shows that ..... oh, my mistake; it doesn't"?

You don't even realise that the person who is providing this "evidence" - i.e. you - is, themselves unreliable.
Many years ago, you said, you watched the moon landings on tv. Then you realised you had been "deceived" and opposed them. A few months ago, however, you apologised to God for doubting them and prayed for the astronauts. Now you doubt them again and anyone who tries to say otherwise - even the eyewitnesses themselves - is wrong and doesn't know the truth.

So your "evidence" is dodgy, and we can't even trust the one who is giving it.
but nothing sinks home.
As you have given no evidence, there is nothing to "sink home" - a mixed metaphor.
I thought emotions and feelings had nothing to do with this topic?
Saying one thing and doing another is another way to destroy credibility.

Inverse square law is for point sources. The moon is not a "point" of light. Neither are the stars for that matter, although they may seem that way given the vast distances. As I said before, it is a complete misapplication of the inverse square law.
The inverse square law does still apply, actually. It's a result of space having three dimensions.

But the inverse square law tells us that the intensity of the light keeps getting fainter with distance but never reaches zero.

I don't know what the confusion is.
You told me to try watching the video again. I can't watch it again - i.e. for the second time - when I have never watched it.

And in any case, AI does not "prove" anything.

It can be used to provide evidence in support of certain experiments that involve issues of statistics, text processing and textual analysis, where it has particular capabilities, but it has no ability to prove anything with regards to astronomy as current AI models are not optimized for astronomical observation.

That said, the well-trained commercially available LLM systems will provide accurate information on astrophysics and cosmology in response to most queries (they make some mistakes involving extremely complex issues), and next-gen hybrid AIs which are presently in beta, for instance, DALL E 4.5, have improvements which makes them no longer a pure AI and improves their use case.

In order to get an AI to provide information that supports a Flat Earth one would have to basically tamper with it in order to get it provide false information.

What's 'firsat' mean ?
Oh come on - surely you can work out that it's meant to read "first"?
I was in a hurry and didn't read it properly.

No it really can't. it makes stuff up, so it can't be trusted.

Nor is it necessary, since we have a plethora of reliable inforation.

And how would one go about doing this exactly ?

Two of my favorites ........

Joshua 10:13

And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, until the nation took vengeance on their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and did not hurry to set for about a whole day.

Psalm 89:37

Like the moon it shall be established forever, a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah

Please, somebody, anybody put me out of my misery and tell me they don't really think this is real.
No idea.
But why would you even need to ask? You don't believe in the moon landings, so if someone were to say "yes, it's real"; your answer would be "fake".

They created an animation from the telemetry data. There was no additional craft doing filming of its landing, OBVIOUSLY, so they created the animation to give a visual of what was happening on the moon's surface.

Why is this so hard for you to comprehend?
