  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What becomes of the souls of other creatures God has made after Jesus comes again? When the new Heaven and the new Earth are made, might the lost souls of God's first creatures of Earth also be redeemed and included in the new creation?
"Creation groans for its redemption," says Paul in Romans. We don't know enough details to know how that will look. But I see no problem with asserting that, if cities and nations carry over from Old Creation to New, the good of the souls of animals will also carry over form Old Creation to New.

Thank you for your answer. I feel this way as well. There is nothing in scripture, really, aside from that we know the souls of animals "go down into the earth" when they die -- and yet, even the earth will be born anew, so therein lies hope.
