re angry men
our school district & some churches have been holding various community workshops for kids & teens & parents

the school counsellors also have groups during lunch where kids can discuss feelings (anger, sadness, etc) in a friendly way via games

we attended the community church workshop & our child signed herself up for the school lunch group

these are good things for communities to do because the younger people are when reached, the better so individuals can learn to deal
both girls & boys are participating

Yeah I was going off topic too much.

It's always up to the person having the problems. I don't believe that outside things such as the way a nation is can fully heal the problem. Good outside things can help our Inner Man but Jesus seems to imply that the spirit is more important.

Love might cover a multitude of sins but whitewashing a dead corpse solves nothing. There is no such thing as a utopian society and so thinking you can neatly order human hearts is an error. Personalism is closer to humanity than the systemization of a Nation or a world.

So in short personal responsibility, God, and other people who have become themselves, which means spiritual growth.

Male disenfranchisement comes from the fact that our culture now says masculinity is "toxic" and "evil" and needs to be "stopped". Now men are becoming weak and submissive.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak mean create hard times.

This seems to be a common misunderstanding.

Talking about toxic masculinity isn't saying masculinity is toxic; it is saying that some ideas, norms, etc in our culture to do with masculinity are toxic and need to change. That doesn't mean men need to become weak and submissive.

And the fact that, according to this view, women are completely invisible and contribute nothing shows how inaccurate and out of touch with reality this is.

No, actually (and I'm really sorry for coming across that way). I was referring to your approach as fair and balanced, in comparison to those in our nation that I felt wasn't.

This doesn't solve the anger issue whether we are dealing with a political or a personal relationship issue.

I like that saying. I don't think it excludes women, I just think that it's focusing on the part of the human condition called masculinity.

If the woman want to go die in a coal mine then be my guest. I don't even want to do that. just thinking about crawling a couple of miles to the work site is slavish enough. It is a common thought in some groups that "men are more disposable".

I think your comment is apropos and I’ve mentioned the same. A results-oriented approach addresses a problem but doesn’t end with discussion. They devise concrete ways to resolve them.

It is a common trait most leaders possess @ChicanaRose. Pray for a double portion to aid your mission.

In relation to the present topic, the solution is threefold:

There must be a proactive approach to problem-solving. We’re too reactive and often tackle issues when the building is up in flames. Putting out the fire when it starts minimizes damage for everyone involved.

This means a strategic prayer cycle that intentionally targets strongholds (anger, rejection, etc.). This is something most can do.

It means attentiveness in religious surroundings. Take note of loners and those you see unaccompanied. Introduce yourself and invite them for coffee or a small group they might appreciate. Help them get plugged in. Loneliness often drives people to seek company in the wrong places.

If your loved one struggles with anger stop arguing and defending yourself. If counseling is an option be willing to go and listen. The further they’ve moved down the spiral the more they’ve repressed. Its important they’re able to release their pent up feelings in a safe environment. Listen more than you speak. You’ll learn a lot.

Most of all, pray for our men. Godly women must be cognizant of Satan’s wiles and his intention to obliterate us both. He is doing everything to break his mind, heart, and spirit. Stand against him and remember who your enemy is.

Let us endeavor to be kind to one another. And don’t forget:

It's so funny. Humans go too far one way and then they swing around in reaction to the first error and go too far the other way. This is a repeating pattern that happens in reality.

Funny how a Jubilee of setting captives free clears the playing field to clearer vision. What may not be an open invitation from all on the forums is so much better than open season on any women who posted at all on the theology forums.
But the blessing imo is seeing what it takes for vision to become clearer. Christianity is heathenism if that right is not recognized.

Good luck to the gays etc, but for all the biblical reasoning for understanding why women are entitled to a voice I hope you can produce a fraction of biblical knowledge to add to the discussion.

This is more of someone breaking a clear commandment of the Bible.

If someone was a Mormon and came to me to talk theology, I'm not going to listen to that person. Listening to a woman priest is similar to that. Women are not to be in authority in the church and they are not to teach in the church. Period.
