I had been, once. But that was in my immaturity, I was angry at him for not delivering something he never promised and was under no obligation to provide. Nobody likes it when you do that with regular people, so it wouldn't be right to do that with the Lord either. He has done me no wrong, he does not do anyone wrong, so there is no point in getting angry with him. I save that for the people who do me wrong.

I'm not suggesting that you should be angry at him. I am asking about the possibility.

Would you mind sharing with me the nature of what you felt when you were angry at him? I am not asking that you tell me what happened.

My anger at Jesus was rooted in my inaccurate interpretation of who Jesus was and what He was doing in my life. I don't think that a person could be rightfully angry at a righteous, loving God.

When injustice seems to go unchecked, sometimes.

Being angry with God is fine. The psalms give us a precedent and an encouragement to express that anger.

I'll take "Jesus" (one of the three persons of the Trinity) to refer to God in general.

Everyone feels mad at God on occasion. It has happened more than once in the Bible. And if there's one thing I've learned from that, it's that God can handle our emotion, and even invites our honesty so long as we remain humble.

I get angry when:

1. I see someone doing something wrong and not getting any penalty for it. This is a big thing when I'm driving, because there are a lot of dangerous idiots on the road, and it ticks me off. I see people getting pulled over in speed traps, but I haven't seen anyone speeding an extra 20mph get pulled over. However, I am at least assured by the Bible that God is not unaware of injustice, and all unconfessed sin will be accounted for in the end.

2. When I see people's lives falling apart whom I at least believe to be trying to live in God's will. I hate divorce, and seeing my Christian friends divorce greatly disturbs me.

3. I become angry when I see my prayers not being answered in the ways I had been hoping. I don't like it when I'm ignored by people, and I'm not much happier when it seems like God isn't paying attention to me.

4. When my life isn't going well, I either get angry, get really desperate for Him, or fluctuate between the two.

5. I can't think of a fifth.

Jesus loves you friend. He stood strong friend, through their beatings and abuse, spitting and mocking. He loves you so much friend. You have a problem, take a load off friend, I defeat them. He loves you friend.

I appreciate your kindness and concern but I am sorry to let you know that I don't believe in Christianity and don't want to, not ever. I cannot express very well just how much I appreciate your kind gesture while having no interest at all in Christianity. I hope that doesn't offend you.

I understand perhaps situations have diverted you away from the truth. The truth is, God is love, that is all. It is truely all about love. Send me in a cage match against one that disagree's and you will welcome me victoriously. I'm your friend and humbly welcome you and stand beside you to victory in any situation. Regardless if you understand it yet or not. You will find that many of those you considered enemies to truely and devotedly be your friends. They love you friend and joyfully show how much God loves them. It is true friend, giving all in the name of love.

I just dont want to set you up for dissapointment by giving youbthe impression that you may be able to bring me to christ. I am telling you that you wont unless god himself tells me to. Ive done this too many times before. Normally it ends with a christian being sad or mad i dont want to put you through that. I know what christianity is and its horrifying.

Hey Lee. I put thought into this very question when I first became a Christian. Eventually I came to the conclusion that I would rather know God regardless of whether I can find proof of His existence.

They are things that can make me angry at God. Like I said, everyone gets angry at God occasionally, even the heroes of the Bible.
