Not that i advocate Islam, but the same can be said of the Bible - Old Testament at least.

So what? In many cases in the New Testament Jesus purposefully contradicted the Old Testament, for example 'You have been told an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth...'. Find me verses in the Quran that teach things such as 'turn the other cheek', oh, and Church and State are seperate in USA, it's just that The Church has basically fulfilled the role of a pressure group, study pressure groups in politics and you will see what I mean. But I doubt you are interested, when Eurabia comes you will all see.
