Yeah, but the ones I always see on tv are the same ten or fifteen over and over. They never play the other ones for some reason. I have Sky Angel satellite. We have an Andy Griffith DVD too. We watch it late at night, when my parents are gone somewhere.

A few years ago, TV Land had a couple of "Marathon Weekends" with TAGS. I recorded about 6-7 tapes FULL of the episodes! I have 4 kids, ages 11, 9, 3, 1. The older three watch TAGS tapes about 2 or 3 days a week. I NEVER have to worry about what they see or what they will hear when they watch those tapes (I edited out a few of the commercials!).

I live in Raleigh, North Carolina not *too* far from the mythical town of Mayberry. ; ) Siler City still exists too! TAGS (never heard it called that before!) is VERY popular here as you would expect. I work for the Courts here and people always call Sheriffs "Barney Fife" or "Andy." = ) I really haven't seen all the episodes I'm sure, but I have a great love for the show. Have you all seen the reunion special they had some months ago? It was really cool. Here's a link. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0386286/

A couple of GREAT Andy websites:
1. www.BarneyFife.com
-This is a site with some Bible studies that I have used at church. They're really cool!
2. www.Mayberry.com
-Lots of pretty neat links, including one to the TAGSRWC (TAGS Rerun Watcher's Club)

It's an okay show i like beverly hillbilles better.

Here's the part where I sound like a really OLD fogey: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!!!!!!

A couple of years ago TV Land did a run-down of the best sitcoms of all time, and TAGS was judged #1. Other great shows they listed were: The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, Leave It To Beaver, and All In The Family. But the BEST was TAGS.

Now, even though that makes me sound old, it was off the air before I was ever born, and I only know it from syndication.

But nothing beats a good helping of Aunt Bee's "kerosine cucumbers"!^_^

We should start posting our favorite episodes.

Voted the best ever by Andy himself, and by viewers of TV Land, was "Opie the Birdman." That was the episode where Opie killed a bird with his slingshot and then raised her babies himself. The scene where he lets them go brings tears to every parent's eyes!
