Peace in Christ.

There is NO LAW against eating from the trees of the garden. The LORD God had instructed this to the “man”….the Adam… who had the Spirit of God within him.

Gen 2:16 KJV
(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Of every tree of the garden….the fruit of the Spirit are those things we may freely eat from.

Gal 5:
(22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
(23) Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.

The tree of life….Christ… is the midst of the garden.

(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Let us not be desirous of vain glory….that is, wanting to be seen as wise as the woman did.

(26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Let us not be desirous of “vain glory” = desiring to be seen as wise.

Gen 3:6 KJV
(6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The trees of the garden are different from every tree that the LORD God made to sprout out of the “ground”….the Adamah.

The Adamah (the ground) are those people who do not have His Spirit within them. They only live after the flesh and not after the Spirit. They is their default mode. They cannot please God. They are fleshly-minded only people. We live among them still.

Gen 2:9
(9) And out of the ground (adamah) made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The trees that they desire to eat from are things that are pleasing to their sight (the lust of the eyes) and are good for food (that produce the pride of life among them).

These carnal things spring forth from OUT of the world….out of the Adamah. They love the things of this world and seek after them first .

1Jn 2:15-17
(15) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
(16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of (OUT of) the world.
(17) And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

They only seek after the basic things of this life: what to eat, what to drink, what to wear.

Mat 6:31-33 KJV
(31) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

We are to seek after the kingdom/government of God first and His righteousness.

(33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

And the works of the flesh….the Adamah…are made manifest to us all:

Gal 5:19-21 KJV
(19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
(21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The Adamah (the ground) are like the beasts of the field. People without His Spirit (the Adamah) are like animals as compared to Adam who had the Spirit of God within him. Some are like serpents, some are like doves, some are like wolves, sloths, etc.

Their souls have animal-like qualities compared to the “living soul” of Adam…man with the Spirit of God within him.

Gen 2:19-20
(19) And out of the ground (the adamah) the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
(20) And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
