It sounds like you are saying that the "revealing of the Son of man" in Luke 17:30 took place when Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in the 1st century. If so, I disagree with that view.Looks like He was saying, the wise person obeys His Logic, Word and Law. while those who ignore Him lose big; And if He was including Yerusalem as part of the story, that certainly came to pass. Those who got out when there was a lapse in the surrouding were saved. Those that stayed contrary to His advice/warning perished miserably from Pharisees, Edomtes, starvation etc. more than from the Roman Army that had been trained by the Apostle Paul.
