Are you really saying that Paul was "saved" before the other apostles and disciples?
Word meanings are often based on their context.
As Paul was not the "first saved", the word "chief" (in the KJV of the bible) must mean something besides "first".

And Acts 9:5 is just the beginning of SAUL / PAULS journey , first of salvation and 1 Tim 1:15 and says that Christ jesus

came into the world to SAVE SINNERS , of whom , I AM FIRST // and the word , in the GREEK word PROTOS

means FIRST , to be saved by GRACE !!

Some say the CHURCH // EKKLEISIA began in the OLD COVENANT

Some say it began in Acts 2

Some sy it began in Acts 11

Some say it began in Acts 13

SOME sy it began in Acts 28

And some do not CARE

And in 1 Tim 1:16 , Paul is the PATTERN to all that are saved by GRACE .
