Hmm.

Should bad jokes be the standard for all elected officials to vacate their office?
No, because obviously there are different standards for each side.

People who don't hate Trump are kind of hard to find, aren't they?
If they were, liberals wouldn't be complaining all the time about how perplexed they are to know that his base is standing by him.

You obviously did not view the other video which clearly exposes her prejudicial viewpoint of Trump. I personally glad she was invited as it shows the dems willingness to use their partisan hatred in something as grave as impeachment attempts.
A lesson learned from the republicans during Obama years

Reeeeally. Trump backers calling out dems for mockery.

Didn't your guy recently rewrite the whole book on that?

Goes back to their secret motto - just because we tell you you can't do something, doesn't mean we can't.
He probably did. But these were to be law professors speaking on the Constitution as applicable to impeaching Trump. That they came off partisan does not help Nadler's case. It just added another confirmation that the process is politically motivated.

Only after she was strongly and roundly criticized for it....IOW, she couldn't get away with it.
On the flip side, have the republicans ever apologized for their failures and faults?

Heck no. Given proof they are lying, they just keep lying.

Tell me one thing either side has done in the last 40 years that wasn't politically motivated

I'm perplexed beyond measure how Trump gets any votes at all, and I'm not liberal.

The House Democrats could not find three law professors who have not been on the record as Trump haters? It was like watching an MSNBC cable news program.
Is it odd that Constitutional scholars would dislike a President who hates the law? Nope.

I understand. It's a big joke. Nothing to hesitate doing. That's what we do in politics now--ridicule children (unless it's Greta Thunberg, then no).

But when Obama was in the White House, no one dare say anything about his children, even if it was not a slam. Oh no. They were off-limits, you see, and as any decent person should know without being told.

People with micro attention spans who vote based on nothing more than sound bites and memes.

People who are so tired of the leftist agenda they think they're voting for a lesser evil.

People who are so desperate for change they'll take take change for the worse.

Fat cats who want a 100 foot yacht instead of a 50 foot one.

Those are the ones who vote for Trump.

Bill Maher did an excellent piece on why people vote against democrats. But I doubt many here would watch it.

Are you kidding? They do it all the time. In today's world, and as compared to the opposition, it's probably a failing they need to get past.

I can't think of a single reason why constitutional law professors don't like our criminal president who undermines the Congress, Constitution, his Oath of Office and lies to the American People on a daily basis. Not one reason sticks out at me why someone who studies the constitution for a living would have any dislike of this president.
All three have been vocal against the President from day one of his administration. They showed their partisanship in an impeachment inquiry. The very reason the founders made it difficult to impeach a president.

He has already undermined the American's electorate confidence in the 2020 election. He has demonstrated that he will do anything to benefit him politically.
The actions of both parties has undermined American's confidence in the entire system. Why do you think voter turnouts are so chronically low?

Thanks for the point. Karlan does nothing mean to Barron Trump but it is factual that right wingers have been considerably mean to Thunberg.
But when Obama was in the White House, no one dare say anything about his children, even if it was not a slam. Oh no. They were off-limits, you see, and as any decent person should know without being told.
I think that both left and right show how hypocritical they are when they say stupid things about President's minor children. I remember hearing things about Obama's, Bush's, Clinton's, Carter's, etc... The same with First Ladies. Michelle was a wonderful woman. Melania seems to have repented from her past and embraces Catholicism. Laura Bush was a beautiful person. (I'll keep Hillary out of this ) All of our First ladies, that I can remember have been wonderful examples for our society but there is always someone who wants to show their classless ways by criticizing them.

He is openly defiant of the checks and balances of our government as prescribed by the Constitution. His supporters are following him in that position, just as they have in everything else he's done.

If he believed he could get away with it, he absolutely would order mass arrests.

I don't have the foresight to know all the potential consequences, but he's undermining our democracy with each day he's in office and violating the Constitution.
If he loses this election, youll see the consequences
