I FINALLY got Fridays off and that has made a HUGE difference for me. While I never get to sleep in or just merely relax on that day, it's nice to have a day to devote time to things other than school and work. One Friday, I took my two youngest sisters and met up with a friend and her two daughters and we went apple and pumpkin picking. The other day, little sis's and I carved the pumkins (they'd never done it before and it'd been a while for me). It's so nice to be able to spend more time with my family. This week was EXAM week. . .but I finished it up today. God really blessed me by keeping me calm and not letting me get stressed (did ya'll hear the story about my spring finals? ). So while most things have slowed down to a reasonable pace, I did join my church's Christmas choir (the only time we have one) since I've never missed a year participating in some way (but I can't believe I joined another group) and was just asked to help with a children's choir for the same concert. . .some things never change and my life seems destined to be busy! However, it is now a busy that I can handle, rather than a busy that frustrates me and breaks me. Well, I've got to leave for vocal jazz soon and must practice a little more for it now! She do ba de da, be dididly do ba do da. . . (I love these two new smilies!) (and no, I'm not wearing a tutu to class! )
