It is so great to be able to receive such encouragement. When I read something like that, it really challenges me, and it points me in the right direction of where I should be headed. It reaffirms what I have always believed.

Thank-you, and Thank-you.

God Bless You Pastor!!!

:amen: Thanks so much for posting this thread, Pastor George!! So few teens today think about what it does when they dress so immodestly.

I have never worn anything except modest dresses, always below the knee and never anything skimpy. I want to set an example that way, when I have a family of my own, so that modesty will be a natural thing for my daughters. (My mom set the example for me. :))

I saw an interesting show on TV last night that interviewed men of all ages and persuasions and they universally said that when a woman dresses like a hoochy, they treat her like one, but when a woman dresses like a lady, they treat her like she is. All of the men also said that when they are considering a serious relationship, they would rather be with a woman who dresses modestly than a woman who dresses like Britney Spears. They said it's okay to have fun with a girl like Britney, but they would never get into a lonterm relationship with her, and certainly never marry her.

When the reporter asked men what they looked for in a potential mate, they mostly said they wanted some mystique, some mystery about her private parts and they especially needed a woman who hadn't been with a lot of men already.

These were not Christian men only, they were from all walks of life. The show was called "Culture Wars." Do any of you get this show in your area? or is it a local Dayton thing? It's like they take a cultural issue and interview ordinary people about it.
