I wouldn't say that those economic conditions "forced" Germany into a war. No, what happened is that Democracy failed in Germany and, Hitler being the spinmeister that he was, took advantage of the drastic economic situation that a world wide economic depression afforded.

I didn't say he and his party were saints, just that the true history surrounding their rise to power is often misunderstood, or blatantly lied about for a personal agenda. So yea, you can put your mind at ease.

To be honest, after having served 20 years in the US military, I can appreciate how disciplined and dedicated those people became in such a short period of time. I would love for our country to have the same, but it wouldn't happen without a major fight now, there are too many people that have their own indoctrinated agenda.

I watched those documentaries , and it /they/ were eye-openers for what the usa and britain did to germany, unjustly. They clearly provoked the war, and even more clearly had many opportunities to prevent the war.....

It all depends on which historians, ethical and economic theorists you listen to, whether in a documentary or in a book.

It's hard not to be indoctrinated into something anymore. When you join the military, you are indoctrinated into their way of thinking and outlook, which anymore is very corrupt now, and will take many years to unwind from it's social experiment the current administration has placed upon it.

It's hard to find anything that doesn't have some sort of agenda associated with it.

No, I did no such thing. I do agree with the fact that God has spoken into the World, that He has sent Jesus into the world, and that the bible is a collection of writings from His prophets, apostles and other disciples.

So no, you don't get to play that card on me. We simply have a difference as to how to we each understand the Christian faith.

I know some people did grow up in rough neighborhoods or might have been subjected to verbal and emotional abuse so much they don't recognize hate speech. If that is so, you have my sympathy. You deserve more, and we as voters deserve more.

This is why we have the fields of Historiography and the Philosophy of History; so we can all be better historians and come to see the forest for the trees.

Hitler was a very evil man and there is no excuse for him. But why seemingly normal people get sucked into following that person is something to study.
