CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I somehow have the feeling that this "Important Message" isn't all that important at all. And who is Billy Graham anyway? Oh, I've certainly heard the name before, but if you are itching for a fool's errand remind me who he is exactly.

If it's any consolation to you God doesn't send anyone to Hell.
People go there on their own.
By the way, being a good person and doing good things doesn't
get someone into Heaven. either.

I was glad to hear the message was still one of coming to know Christs gospel. Not a prophetic message of gloom and doom, but one of hope for the evil doers, the pagans, the atheists, the muslims, deists, etc.

So he didn't talk about the importance of Love or Compassion and helping those in need? That's the essence of the Message of Jesus Christ. If that wasn't the whole of Graham's message, than he pretty much missed the Heart of Christ and what Jesus spent most of his time teaching.
