The gospel they were to teach all nations was what Jesus had taught during His entire earthly ministry.

Including what Paul was taught by him in the third heaven (Gal 1:11-12, 2 Co 12:1-9),
and what he authoritatively teaches us in Ro 13:8, that the one who loves has fulfilled the law.
