Because YOU said that we evolved from ape. Who cares about other mammals? Nobody said we evolved directly from them.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know, you can actually look this type of thing up, no need to make guesses. There is approximately 10^14 synaptic connections in the adult human brain, but this is not an accurate measure of intelligence since this number dramatically decreases during childhood.
Also, you just said that the apes have 100 synaptic connections. That is closer to the level of a flatworm.

Au contraire.. that's exactly what evolution says.
We evolved directly from apes. We evolved directly from primates. We evolved directly from mammals. We evolved directly from vertibrates, from animals, from eukaryotes...
Birds don't evolve into mammals, animals don't evolve into plants, primates don't evolve into ungulates and chimps don't evolve into humans. They don't and they never have. The only people who claim they do are those who don't understand evolutionary theory, who can't understand it, or who refuse to understand it.
