The myth in question is the myth of Yam, which God puts Himself in the place of Yam in defeating the chaos beasts and tweaks the myth by removing any sense of struggle or use of His and Leviathans body within the creative act. It's significant because it shows that God is not above relying on myths and human understanding to convey His message, albeit with tweaks to those myths.

I don't believe we can nail it down, as it seems our primary recourse is speculation.

Sure we can.

I present you chapter 26 of Leviticus. Verses 14-18, 21, 23-24, and 27-28 tells you what God does when people walk contrary to him. See/read the whole chapter to have a good idea and understanding of it.

People partaking in things with God ought to walk with God and try to be in right standing with God. The issue with King Saul and what went on with him is that he walked contrary to God. That is what I deduce about this.

I think it seems like some sort of disturbance in the soul or deep in the mind that cannot be clearly identified as this or that. Though some will give it a name I think fundementally its a disturbance of the spirit. Which is something deep in a persons psyche and soul.

Davids music which was to the lord, his spirit sinding and playing to the lord was the complete opposite. It soothed the sould and there was no explanation anyone could explain in the usual behaviour sciences as to how this happens.

There is evidence of spiritual augumentation that can bring healing effects that are hard to explain in medical terms. Though some have labelled this a psychological phenomena. I think primarily its spiritual.

Especially music and especially music played to or for God as a spiritual expression. It is very [powerful.

I participate in a music therapy group and you can see how music is a vechicle for which some sort of higher level of communication is being tapped into. It is amazing sometimes how a simple song or even instrumental will cause some to feel peace or even help heal or come to a realisation.
