*As a 2nd thought: post first before reading the other perspectives please...*
i am far from a follower of god but i did spend 6 years in a catholic school so i share much of the same "morals". A lovely little paradox occured to me the other night. Ive been probing people like crazy and just plain feel this hasnt been explored enough... so im HOPING this will be a good place to really see the idea expand.
first of all im going to use "cats" as my example due to the fact they are quite independent, intelegent, and do not require companionship of man to survive.
Everything has a "god given right" to live correct ?
Okay heres whats eating the brain. Im given a cat that is Asexual, meaning it reproduces completelly without a partner. Lets say its more then a single freak accident, maybe even evolution and all its kids have this same affliction. Do you kill it to prevent it from overpopulating the world ? Do you give it to science which will most likely dicect it ? Let it live (or at least till it became a problem) ?
what would you do ? and WHY!?!?!
