All are valid questions.

Well here is some info for you. Me and him have been PM'ing each other since yesterday. He has been repenting since we first began PM'ing which was way before any of the big guys even had a chance to influence him. He was very cooperative in responding to all of the RFE PM's that I sent him.
Look, you and him might have a past history, however, I can only speak of what he has shown me and the folks of this forum. Posting this apology takes guts. Actioning the RFE's that I sent him expeditiously and nicely is something that he did not have to do but he did. Most RFE requests are answered with "you do it, I am not going to" kind of attitude.
We need to show some Christian charity here and stop fueling a fire that simply is not there.

I agree, I think it was too pressumptious to think he was forced to do this especially in the manner it was presented by Steve.

While i believe in showing grace, i must ask this just for all to ponder.

Kiwi, if i am correct, doesnt believe in Jesus as God, but denies this. Not only this but i believe that his belief is universalist in that he believes one can deny Christ in this life, embrace anything, and in the end everyone is saved INCLUDING satan.

What i would ask is this.. did he repent to us or to God?

While i sincerely forgive him, i hold no animosity at all, i feel we may be ostracizing a brother in the process or forgiving kiwi. Imho discussion is good, bidding him farewell is quesitonable.

It's great to be an example to Kiwi, but in total mercy what are we unleashing on the unlearned? What are we reinforcing? I believe this is Steve's concern, and frankly, while i agree we should to forgive, I am concerned about what we are reinforcing as well. I cant celebrate if my brother leaves. I cant celebrate feeling i am condoning evil doctrine and shunning my brother.

I feel somehow there is a much better solution than bidding our brother farewell.

Kiwi apologized to us, and im greatful for this. But unless one accepts Christ, if one rejects Him as God, rejecting the scriptures themselves, then kiwi's repentance to us does him no good at all. Not only is he still in danger, but is he not still in position to endanger many more?

I dont pretend to know the solutions here. But i do feel these problems could be addressed and should be together as a forum

I feel we owe our brother as much prayer and support as we do those who oppose both us and Christ

The problem is that Salvation is up to the Holy spirit. If anyone apologizes we should forgive them, it's the scriptural thing to do. We are called to love our enemies, even if Kiwi supports heresy we must love him. I really think that Steve jumped the gun this time, I find that strange considering I have such huge respect for a much older and wiser reformed brother.

Brother i so agree to forgive Kiwi and be an example of love. i do

Even if we perceive our brother as wrong though, i feel we owe him the same love and prayer and forgiveness. This is all im saying. I understand his concern and i share it, as you probobly do too. While i wont deny there possibly was a better way to handle this, there are serious concerns. I just feel we owe our brother as much as we do those who are not. He is a hard worker for Christ, and we all get battle weary, angry and discouraged. He is a soldier i respect and love as a brother as you do NewGuy

Heck i love you all, and if i ever have a bad day i pray you would bear with me as i will with you all

IF you read this kiwi, no hard feelings, i hold nothing against you at all, and pray for you.

Steve brother, if you read this, pray and know too that you are being prayed for

Guys, I appreciate the prayers. I said in this thread what I believe needed to be said. I ask no forgiveness. Tough questions are my style. I just think they are not what is wanted here and that's fine.

Carry on!

I do appreciate folk here.

Later.

steve fwiw I do believe he did this on his own with maybe some suggestions from others...
But it says alot he did it. First I was on the defense. But when I seen him apologise immediately in a report when he seen his wrong, my heart turned to mush.

We are all just human bro and you better not be going anywhere. We all respect and love you much Steve!

Other than that I don't know much about Kiwi's beliefs religiously, though I know him and I never agree on ANYTHING else, but still I open my arms with mercy. He has been frustrated, angry, concerned, we all know those feelings well and how we ALL can react from them. So let us show the same mercy we would hope be shown to us..

Will you also apologize for disregarding our rules and CF rules and flaming our moderators? Will you apologize for using mod powers to undelete posts you had no right to do?

Will you resign as a Chaplain?

===

Were you asked to apologize by Erwin or Constance?

I have explained to the hurt parties what happened with the post I undeleted. I have admitted that I had not realised there were two threads, one debate, one non-debate.

If Constance asks me to resign I will think and pray about it and do what HaShem leads me to do.

Neither Erwin nor Constance asked me to apologise.

Time2bCounted raises the question of what I believe.

I can think of no better way to respond but as follows:

1. I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:

2. And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord:

3. Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary:

4. Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell:

5. The third day he rose again from the dead:

6. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty:

7. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead:

8. I believe in the Holy Ghost:

9. I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints:

10. The forgiveness of sins:

1l. The resurrection of the body:

12. And the life everlasting. Amen.

God bless you for your answer and thank you

I dont want you to feel you have to answer to me personally, i certainly dont feel that way. We DO disagree and i AM concerned, as im sure youre concerned too.

If i start a thread on some of the things we disagree on... IN THE DEBATE SECTION lol... would you be willing, not to debate, but to discuss these doctrines?

Please understand, i DO hope to convince you through the scriptures, this is nothing to show prowess or trying to one up each other... just a discussion
