CONGRATULATIONS!! Can we call him little Willy?

We find out the sex of our little one on July 29th. I hope it's a boy! (or a girl). :)

hehe, I've already been told that if a boy, we will not be naming him after literary characters or any celtic name I could come up with :)

I just thought I'd let my home forum family know the news that the House of Ivanhoe shall have an heir in a little over 8 months!

Good for you man. I'm very happy for you.

Now comes the difficult part, raising him/her in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Stick with it my brother.

God bless,
Don

Congrats Wilfred!

Well, if you have ever struggled understanding Total Depravity you will get a crash course in about 12 months. ;)

LOL!!!! Sorry, this made me laugh aloud and caused my wife to look at me strangely. I have a two year old so I myself and intimately familiar with this.

God bless,
Don

Absolutely Wonderfull!!!

You and yours will be in our prayers that mom and child will stay healthy with no complications.

You really do need to practice names through gritted teeth. And also pick a middle name that sounds right when you are really upset and say all three.

On this note, remember something. While this should not necessarily dictate what name you choose I urge you to remember that children can be ruthless. If there is something about the name you pick that can be changed into a mantra to pick on your child it will make things difficult. When considering a name try not to settle on one that will give your child wierd initials, or a name that can be easily changed to rhyme with something embarrassing.

God bless

LOL, my poor sister is so upset about this! Her daughter came home last year from school(she's in 7th grade) crying because of what she(my sister)had done. Her daughter's name is Alexis Skye Stewart---not the best initials...lol. Poor Alexis...she was tortured for a couple of weeks, till the kids got bored with it...

I named my youngest Calvin Levi---didn't realized until after he was born that both are "jean" names--Calvin Klein and Levi Strauss---arggghhh We've gotten several comments along those lines....to late to change it now....LOL

Congrat Wilfred of Ivenhoe!!! I'm new in the reformed camp and thought I'd check out the old threads, came upon this one and wanted to put in my congratulations for you. Children are a joy!! Although you will learn the mantra "I LOVE my kids. I LOVE my kids. I LOVE my kids. I LOVE my kids...." !!! It's like counting to 10...or 20! But it's SO worth it!

Oh, my oldest is Trevor Keegan....how's that for Welsh/Celtic?! LOL
