You do know that this is a conspiracy theory supported by the right, correct? There's no basis for any proof, and in fact it could be perceived as flaming to continue to make this kind of assertion about people.

I don't believe that anyone's getting paid to attend a Christian forum to argue about politics. It's just too silly to be true.

Well, I certainly know which party spews the most hatred and all I can say is elephants are far more peaceful in the wild. Which side is burning down black churches? Which side has rallies bearing racist signs? Which side uses phrases like "libturds" and "demonrats"? Which side consistently tells its followers that feminists, gays, lesbians, transfolk, non-christians, Muslims, liberals, and basically anyone who isn't 100% on board with their ideologies is an enemy of America? Which side says it's "retarded" for people of color to be offended by the Confederate flag, but are the first to show up to protest a Pride parade, an Islamic learning center being opened, scream loudly against the right for transpeople to use the bathroom they feel safest using, or sign a petition to get a show taken off of TV because one of the corporate sponsors extends partner benefits to gay and lesbian employees? Which side whines about having to pay taxes and says, "don't breed 'em if ya can't feed 'em" when the schools offer free breakfast programs to impoverished children? Which side consistently blocks youth access to comprehensive sex education whilst simultaneously having the highest out of wedlock pregnancy rate? Which side claims same-sex marriage will destroy their marriages, yet has the highest divorce rate per capita?

If the offence of all those things mentioned was only hatred, I would say "Thanks, we should all remember that in the poles." But, it should be noted that hatred is NOT the only thing that causes people to react to new, progressive, or unorthodox behavior.

Example: If someone spoke out about smoking, it could be that they hate people who smoke simply because they are different...or because a caring person just doesn't sit by ideally and not warn a fellow human being that it causes cancer, and that it is inconsiderate to blow smoke.

Most conservative folks, would consider many of the things you mentioned as potential for disaster, many who know it from personal experience. But if it is assumed to be judgmental and hate-base, rather than caring...then of course, the reaction will be just as bad.

Well, you could use specific examples to demonstrate this hate.

You could report the post as hateful.

Or, you could leave the forum and not be engaged with this hate.

I actually have a blast here at least 50% of the time. I put the people who set out to deliberately flame and goad on ignore and focus on the people who are interesting, informative, and capable of having a real discussion. Mostly they are from "my" party, which is inevitable, but there are some who couldn't be more different to me in every sense, and yet they are open to discussion, and I have learned greatly from them. I see hatred from some people towards others who are different to them, and that is sad, but I can choose to feel pity for them and move on.
