but it is not a fact that He was the Son of God because it can't be proven. It's all to do with belief.
Whether the record is accurate or not is another matter. All we know is we have this record that claims he said it. That’s where your opinion comes in.my opinion is the following...Haha That’s where nuance comes in. Notice I said “...the bible records Jesus ....”. I didn’t say Jesus said it. But good effort though.
However - it’s sounds (in my opinion) - that trusting the love you have in your heart for Jesus is the best way to follow.Whether the record is accurate or not is another matter. I believe the record is accurate. The reason I believe it is because .... .... (provide my reasoning).
Yes, the worldly religions that you cited make extensive use of threats to drive compliance.Also,.. doesn't the Muslim faith say that if you're not a Muslim you burn in Hell? Well I'm not worried about that because that's not what I believe. I'm not a Muslim. Seems like every religion has their own scare tactics and I don't believe God works like that. I came to Him because I love Him,.. not because I'm afraid that I'm going to burn in Hell if I don't.
I don't know,.. I'm not God so I don't try to be and I don't judge anyone of where they will spend eternity,.. but due to the fact that there will be a judgement,.. obviously there will be judging going on with the unbelievers. Whether or not they will be condemned automatically or there will be a lot of judging going on first is not my call to make. I'm just saying what I believe and to the person who said that I was creating my own religion,.. that's wrong. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again three days later for my sins,.. so the basic Christian beliefs I believe as well,.. I just have unorthodox beliefs at the same time.
(Biblical) fear of God isn't about being afraid that He wants to smoosh you --He doesn't.
Amen, and it's totally okay to think differently, be free in the Lord Yeshua Christ, sister.
It sounds like you need a better church. Judgment is a reality, but not the one that He prefers.Unfortunately for me,.. this basically was the teaching at my old church. (That He was an angry God just waiting to smoosh people.)
Yes - a fact is for example - the bible records Jesus as having said “love your enemies”.
It sounds like you need a better church. Judgment is a reality, but not the one that He prefers.
Well, none of us are God.. But, the bible is the "word" of God...I don't know,.. I think they mean that they have to pay for everything they did wrong which is different than Jesus' sacrifice for us. Also let's be clear about something here. I am not a universalist because I don't believe that everyone will be saved in the end. I just don't believe that a loving God would damn somebody to Hell just for simply not believing if they still follow all of His commandments by loving each other, being truthful, giving to the poor, etc,.. whereas if somebody was an unbeliever and committed murder, was stealing things, cheating people, and lying,.. I do believe that that would be a bigger reason to do that.
IMO, the punishment will fit the crime. Meaning there will degrees of punishment, worse for Satan and his angels, less for those who had less knowledge. The worse for those not totally wicked will be the memory of the chances they had not to come to this place. Weeping for all the should of and could of moments that will play out forever.
But, of course I believe what the Bible clearly teaches on the subject. And I believe the truly innocent are covered by the blood of Jesus. Of course annihilation is another option that some Christians hold too.

Is annihilationism biblical? | GotQuestions.org
I realize that the Bible doesn't say that,.. but,.. that's where we have to remember that the Bible was written by man and how many times have we thought that somebody said something or twisted somebody else's words around that actually wasn't true? Anyways, I also believe that all believers are guaranteed to go to Heaven because of what John 3:16 says. It also doesn't mention anything about unbelievers in that verse,.. and yeah,.. the Bible talks a lot about how the wicked will be cast into the lake of fire,.. and my first example wasn't anything close to wicked. Not to say that those people are perfect,.. but that's where Jesus' sacrifice on the cross comes into play. (Not trying to change anybody else's mind so I would appreciate very much if nobody tried to change mine.)
Well, you are very optimistic... I'll give you that.@Rose2020, @Bobber, @alllivesmatter, @Lady Bug, @Sabertooth, @Goodhuman, @Confused-by-christianity, @SeventyOne, @Maria Billingsley, @Friedrich Rubinstein, @Jord Simcha, @JacksBratt , @rturner76, @plain jayne, @friend of
Thank you for letting me @ you, will you take time to read this short summary of my belief, though my mind may never change on it.
My belief is that God will be able to have his will met which is to have all to come the knowledge of the truth about his Son.
(Also believe you can build your spiritual body up through faith, reading word of God, prayer, forgiveness, kindness, peace, patience, love, and building the spirit that resides in you instead of giving into the flesh now while you are on earth.)
That people even after this life have a chance to be with God, though however it seems that people after this life would be resurrected outside of the Heavenly Jerusalem, which is not completely separation from God just the unbelievers are outside of the Heavenly Jerusalem. (Rev22)
These gates never shut out anyone, so would it be possible even after this life as a person who is resurrected in a corrupted spiritual body that is given by God, able to turn and see the light from the Heavenly Jerusalem? To be able to come to the truth ?
Speaking on this morning with a friend, he calls me naive, and ignorant. It hurts to have different belief yet be seen as naive and ignorant from someone you just desire to get along with.
Though why should, it be that I question God and his judgement on people and their judgement being resurrected to life, or to condemnation/damnation.
To have them outside of the city, to be still alive at least to some degree or another, in a spiritual body that is given and pleasing to God not to be able to seek and notice the failures and come turning back willingly towards God.
God is love after all, and also justice (would justice serve to the decision of the type of resurrection?)
Won't someone just quote another part of the bible in response? Somewhere where it says everyone. Then you two could argue it back and forth using all your acquired knowledge of interpretation, original language, commentaries & philosophy etc etc???
Well, none of us are God.. But, the bible is the "word" of God...
What does it say? Does it say that there is a second chance? I can't find it.
The bible continually teaches that your eternal place of residence.. is decided in this life.
So, if God is the one we should be looking to for the answer.. then I would have to say.. nope... we do not get a second chance.
There will only be one judgement for the non believers. Since they are all ... everyone, judged at the great white throne.. There is one question:
Is your name in the Lamb's book of life? That's it.
The believers will be judged at the rapture... if they were born before or after Christ.. Since they are believers.. they already have eternal life...
What are they judged for? Well, their works.. This is where your "works" is judged and you are rewarded.... No works.. no reward.. Eternal life, yes.. but that's it.
Lots of work, many rewards.
Any humans who come to believe after the rapture, even into the millenial age.. will also be judged with every single non believer from the beginning of time..
The difference... When the question is asked of them "is your name in the Lambs book of life" the believers name will still be there.
However, the non believer, who has denied Christ at some point... and not accepted Him as the Christ, in their time before they died... Then their name is blotted out.... they are condemned.
I have to say that I disagree..Well i just mentioned this because, it seems like many place salvation on the cross. But that is not true, it is Jesus who is Eternal Life and it is Jesus who gives Eternal Life. And it is trust in the Messiah for God's free gift of Eternal Life, a person gets to the Father through The Messiah. And not any of the miracles The Messiah did, the miracles that should point the person to believing that Jesus was who He said He was. The promised Messiah from the prophecies of the Tanakh, the only begotten Son of God, who took away the sin of the world.
Exactly,Okay. Still it is not a proper Christian belief. Once your dead that are no second chances. God gives people countless chances and they reject Him consistently. Would you want someone in your house that hated you with a passion, no matter what you do they will not change their mind, you can be nice, give them everything and still they have a burning hatred toward you?

No... They were in prison and were having hope that Satan would be able to prevent the Messiah being born. These were spirits from the time of the Genesis 6 flood. For angels were having sex with women. The hope Satan promised them in their temptation was that if they can alter the human race with mutations? The seed of the woman could not take place. Therefore, no woman could exist that would produce the needed perfect human body needed to crush Satan's head.Jesus preached to the spirits in prison. That means they can be saved too, after they pay the last cent for their sins.
@RushMAN Sometimes one of your own family can come in rushing in on christmas eve, and kill you before you get a chance to even change your mind about God. (Been watching to many crime stories on youtube).
