Am I gay?!?!!?!?!?

I've had "urges" and "dreams" about homosexuailty(e.g., pro-homosecxuailty), but I find the idea of being with men perverse and disgusting. I have always been attarcted to women;I want to spend the rest of my life with a specific woman(once I find her).

However, every now and then I get sexual thoughts and feelings that are homosexual. And then--this is the important part--I sometimes feel as if Im not attacred to women. I get really confused sometimes.

In short;

1)I have sporadic, though uncommon, homosexul thoughts and urges

2)I love women in both a physcial and emotional sense;I would neevr, never, never want to be with a guy

3)I get confused about my sexuailty as if I am gay or not!

If it helps, my father eft my family when I was 14, so I haven't had a father figure. But I don't see how this would affect my sexuailty.

Please help me ASAP!!!!

my answer would be no you are not. It is not uncommon for teenagers to sometimes have ambigous thoughts/feelings about their sexuality. You seem very postive about how you view women, I would not let it bother you.

No, you are NOT gay. I'm not qualified to diagnose, but, have you ever heard of HOCD? You might talk with your physician or a counselor regarding this. It's a form of OCD with intrusive thoughts of being gay.

It might help also to talk with a Christian counselor regarding your father walking out on you. Healing the emotional pain will not only help you now; it will help you when you have your own children in the future.

Yes for tennagers this sort of thing is very very common. Alot will worry themselves to bits because they think they are homosexual or bisexual, but in reality it's only a passing phase. Trust me, if you were homosexual you would know it

As the others have said, it is very common to be confused about things like this at your age. Many people go through it.

Also, having dreams in which strange sexual things happen doesn't always have anything to do with your actual interests or proclivities. Very often, the dream is trying to tell you something completely unrelated to what the dream is about. For example, many people have the dream where they show up at school or work naked. This is usually an anxiety dream that has nothing to do with actually wanting to be naked in front of people.

If you're a teenager/going through puberty, then don't worry. This is completely normal, and it's just the result of your body maturing emotionally and mentally, to adulthood.

Like others have said, your probably not, as most teens go through this confused period.

But if you are, don't let people think your a worse person for it.

Leaning a lot more toward Heterosexual more than Homosexual.

You don't sound gay at all to me. I think you sound completely normal. Brains and emotions just do wierd things sometimes. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Don't worry, you're not gay. This is no indicating factor at all, it is a very normal part of growing up and becoming aware of yourself in that area, as your hormones are changing your body and maturing it for reproduction and even your emotions and your mind processing, are affected by your body's reaction to the new chemicals being released as these changes take place.

Again, don't worry, it does not mean you are gay.

It is however, one of the 21 most used homosexual falsities by the gay sub culture. It is one of the falsities that they also will use to recruit teens into their lifestyle, while they are going through these hormonal changes and are vulnerable.

It sounds like you may be gay or bisexual, but it's ok most people are bisexual. The important thing is to follow your heart not your dick, so if you fall for a man then get married and start a life. Unless you are sexist, in which case then just kill yourself because that's what repressing your sexuality will get you anyway.
