Trust God's Word that says in James 4:7b, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you." In other words, the 3-in-1 God of the Bible is all-powerful and is much stronger than the devil and his fallen-angel followers. How can you resist him? Say to God and really mean it, "In the name of Jesus and his victory of the cross and the empty tomb, I resist the devil's puny power; make him flee from me and all Christians." Keep doing that prayer or one like it persistently as long as it takes for God's unlimited power to overcome your addiction to the devil's control in your life. At the same time, throw away those tarot cards or stay away from situations where such people who play them are. You're on my prayer list for God's victory.

Welcome! The deceiver draws us near him in so many ways, even in ways that look like it is coming from God Almighty. You have been given the Holy Spirit but at this time you are "quenching" His work in you by choosing darkness over His light. If you Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, then He will help you with your habitual actions. Only the Holy Spirit can pull you away, we can not do it on our own.

You aren't being oppressed by demons. You're just being human. That's a much harder ailment to cure. You've found something you find entertaining. You are seeking something or you would not have started. Now, it is temporarily filling the void of what you are seeking. It's hard to let go now. You still want answers. You still want what you seek.

God can fill that void. He can give you answers. There's scripture, books, and communities that can help you find those answers. I challenge you to throw out everything regarding the occult. Instead of playing around with the occult, immerse yourself in prayer and scripture. For the next three weeks, pray for fifteen minutes, three times a day. Pray even if you do not say anything. Then, when you feel the desire to dabble in the occult, pray and read scripture. It won't be easy, but force yourself to do it.

The occult has no power over the Believer. It cannot touch you. Unfortunately, you don't have the same protection from your own mind. Pray for God to free you from your desires. We are our own worst demons.

Two simple points.
Submitting to tarot is allowing the enemy predict, dictate your future.
The lie is they can tell what will happen, rather than you are submitting to them telling you what will happen like a prisoner.

Kingdoms. But submitting to the enemy, you are sinning and rebelling against Gods Kingdom

Repentance. Repent of the sin of submission and realising the enemy has no power over your future, only the Lord has. It is the Lord who rules, and allows what is to take place. To not acknowledge the Lord of Lords and His authority, is sin.
As such, one makes oneself bound to the enemy, as there is no other authority that can intervene.

What I always find curious, why would the enemy know about the future, other than he is doomed to the lake of fire and punishment? Would one go to a stranger and ask them about something they know nothing about, and actually follow their advice as if it holds any weight? But this is what many do, and any passing spirit, with any ideas, is better than the living or the Lord of Lords and His word.

It is in our hands, because Jesus opens the door to everyone who will listen and believe Him. He will exercise His authority and set those free who reach out and pray.

What you are doing is the same reason why Hindus worship in front of idols. Demons hold an attraction to the flesh of certain kinds of sensitive people.

Also.. We have been handed one sided news when it comes to demons. We only concentrate on the evil spirits being cast out as we read in the Bible. But, there are different orders of fallen angels. Some desire to compete against the Holy Spirit by trying to offer something more pleasing to you than God would. Some Christians even think demons are the Holy Spirit guiding them. That is why we are told to test the spirits. The only way that can be done is to accept soundly taught teachings. Those in such a trap are the ones always promoting false doctrines that contradict God's Word.

The problem is? God's Spirit demands righteousness. And, rubs our flesh the wrong way at times.

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want." Gal 5:17

In competition with God to hold to your soul, demons can try to make us feel comfortable with ourselves in ways God would never tolerate. They may even approach us like they are a helpful concerned friend, if that's what they deem we are vulnerable to.

She is my spiritual counsellor. I had been seeing her for 4 years and she really helped me through difficult times. Her explanation about tarot make a lot of sense and she has been practicing for 20 years and nothing bad happened to her. Tarot has done nothing but helped and made her a better person. What I'm afraid of I won't reap the negative consequences now but some time in the future. Btw, she is a witch. At that time, she is the only person I felt comfortable in confiding.

You are just playing with the energies of the universe... and your own energies... the occult means "secret", forbidden knowledge, the bible itself is occult because it has many layers of understanding.. Most of the people don't go beyond the first layer, the literal understanding... After Noah's flood, God gave humanity the rainbow, right? The rainbow is made of the 7 colors that form the light, there are 7 chakras, God gave humanity the chakras.. Every color of the rainbow is a chakra color..

These are dangerous things because you are stepping into a unknown world.. where dark things really do exist, some are part of us ( our traumas and so on ) and some are from the outer world... My advice, just stick with meditation, this is what I do.

This is my ministry calling, and I was once involved in the occult, so I can tell you this, you may think nothing is happening but that is not true. What is happening is you are opening up yourself for oppression, possession (if you are not saved, and I am guessing you are not), if you were you would not feel this pull and desire to the devil's kingdom but God's. I am not trying to make you feel bad but telling you what I did and how I know. I got involved for a yr. and began tarot cards, casting spells and even though raised up in church, I knew it was wrong and thought I was a Christian, I realized later I was not. First if you know for sure you are saved, then you are very much backslid. Either way, you must get rid of all occult stuff, take it out and burn it, do not donate it or anything else! You must repent to God for messing with the occult and if you are not saved, ask him to come into your heart and save you (even if you think you are saved it wont hurt if you ask him again), and repent means to turn from it and be sorry and not do it again, and if I were you I would rebuke any spirits in your house you have invited in with the use of this stuff and in Jesus name pray in your rooms and ask God to rid you of any spirits you have invited in with use of this stuff.
You may think you are just playing with this stuff but the devil uses any opportunity he can to get in and you gave him legal right when you brought it in your home and pray over your family, or have someone else too. Put this effort into seeking God, reading bible, prayer and fasting and leave that stuff alone. Its serious business, and you open up a curse to your home when you bring it in. I believe you are unsaved, repent before God, be saved, baptised and get in a good bible believing church and you will not need to ask how can I quit tarot, just do it, get rid of it and ask God to help you, he will. You will certainly have picked up an occult demon. Certainly the devil wants to keep you away from God. You need to repent, rid yourself and your environment of anything to do with the occult and seek deliverance from the demon. You walked into Satan's trap. Get rid of the cards and anything else that is questionable.

The good news is that you can be set free. I was born into the occult because my family, including my mother, was heavily involved. They sought a guardian angel for me while my father was overseas at war. It was real and brought nothing but grief. I was sick to the point of death before I was two. But God kept me in His keeping power. I was born again when I was 20. I was delivered from many demons, including the occult. I have an aversion to the occult now. God can put that into your heart.

chakras, meditation and all of that is of the devil. I was involved in the occult and witch craft yrs ago and became a Christian. I will tell you this, people think because it not Wicca and stuff that that other stuff like mediation and middle eastern stuff is not of the devil...it is. Meditation opens you up to spirits, and no the bible is not occult the bible says if our gospel be hidden, it is hidden to those people that are lost, (2 Corinthians 4:3) and that the interpretation of the bible and prophecy is not hidden to people 2 Peter 1:20 , I could go on all night about this subject, or you can do your own research (from God's word) or you can just take it from one who has studied the occult at length and is now a spirit filled Christian, that occult stuff all comes from one pot, something is either from God or the devil (when relating to this kind of thing). There is no in between, and it is NOT from God. That is truth.

Nothin bad happened to her???? She is lost and going to hell! and she is deceived by the devil, she may or may not repent and be saved if someone will pray for her, the fact that you are wondering about this tells me that you have not reached the point yet that your conscience is too hardened to repent. The only person you need to believe about whether it is good/bad/right wrong is the one who made you. God almighty, who says that he hates witchcraft, it is an abomination to him, and those practicing it are in direct rebellion to God. The sin of witchcraft is rooted in a spirit of rebellion. I want you to google bible verses about witchcraft, (you will find many) as there are to many to list here. You will also see the one about witchcraft and rebellion being the same in God's opinion. So, you need to repent of witchcraft, rebellion, and be saved, ask God to come into your heart and save you, get rid of occult items, drop your witch friend, any advice she will give you will be wrong about your spiritual standing with God as it is from her rebellious point of view and standing with God, lost people are not always mean or anything, they are just lost. Asking her about for spiritual advice is the blind leading the blind. God loves you, but if you keep in rebellion to him, you may be turned over to a point where your not convicted about it anymore and as the demons you are messing with through your involvement with this stuff gain a greater hold on you, you may never give it up, and die lost and go to hell. Those spirits being good she says is a lie. The devil never comes for anything but to kill, steal and destroy and the Bible says the devil is a liar and murderer. I forgot to write this when I made this post. I experience something weird. The lights in my room had not been working for months and I don't bother to repair it. Out of nowhere, it turns on on its own and lasted for a few days before it went off again. I just thought may be it is the temperature in my room that cause it to do that.

Another incident, I’m 100% sure I locked my bedroom door before I go out. When I came back home it was half open. Maybe I forget to lock but it’s impossible because if I forget, the key will still be hanging on the keyhole. My keys are in my bag. Another theory may be it’s the wind but it’s not possible because the door is locked. When I locked the door I heard a click so it’s not me that is not locking up properly.

Do you think this is a paranormal phenomenon? This happen ever since I bought creepy gothic dolls. There is nothing supernatural about those dolls, it is just creepy-looking.

I was raised Christian but when I went to university I was exploring alternative spiritual paths which led me to Wicca and tarot cards. I only practice tarot once in a while and still go to church. But for the past few months, I found myself getting more interested in tarot and want to deepen my knowledge. I have been trying to quit for months and go back to church but I find it very difficult. Now, I only go to bible study once a week, can't bring myself to go to Sunday service. Sometimes I wonder how I get this far into the occult, I was just curious about other spiritual belief systems.

The Bible says choose this day whom you will serve, God or the devil. Paranormal all of that crap is of the demonic, everyone gets curious, sooner or later, but everything you need to know is right there in your Bible. Knowledge is in there, not some tarot cards, any info you could get from any of that occult stuff even if correct is from familiar spirits (those around with knowledge about you to answer correctly). Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. You know all this, so quit riding the fence, get rid of that stuff, repent and get back with your God, what your doing is spiritual adultery. Not trying to sound mean, just telling you the truth (I have been there done that with all this occult crap, my dad was a mason also), it all has spiritual repercussions. Remember this, sin comes with punishment, God is merciful but don't provoke him, it may not be today but it has consequences, because of my sin, my own daughter got involved in the occult, is unsaved. God punishes down to the 3rd and 4th generation over this stuff, it invites a curse with it. Need specific verses, I will give them to you if you want, but you bring darkness in , your gonna get darkness, please please get rid of it and repent. God forgave King David for adultery and murder, but look at the mess of violence and problems with his kids after that. He forgives but it all has repercussions. Dont heap them up for yourself.
