Am I being obedient enough to Christ?

I'm not as wordy as most of the posters here. I can say that I also often beat myself over the head with the feeling that I'm not doing enough or that I'm not good enough. I have to remind myself that God loves me just as I am, buckle up my armor against spiritual attacks, and carry on. :)
I like it.

Wait wait there might be more to it than that
if you love Me you will keep my Commandments.

John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commands.
I don’t feel there is a conflict between loving God and others and also feeling that you are loved by God and good enough.

Feeling loved by God and knowing this actually opens us and our hearts to obedience. I think God wants us to be motivated by love and not fear of not being perfect.

I know many people cannot reconcile that love and obedience actually work together, when we are in relationship with God and the Holy Spirit lovingly convicts us of sin. I think that is because they have only known a God that they fear.

But the Bible tells us that perfect love casts out fear.

The Lord said on the Cross" 'It is finished' and Hebrews tells us wonderfully and repeatedly that His work at the Cross is finished! (chapters 9 and 10). We can by God's grace seek to serve Him faithfully, but we can't "do more" supposedly to improve an already perfect, finished work at the Cross. :)
