Alpha courses

I'm thinking of going to an 'Alpha course', as I have lots and lots of questions regarding christianity that I'd love to discuss with others. I only heard about the course last night, but sounds like a lot of fun. Has anyone been on this course? What did you think of it? Any comments would be gratefully appreciated.

I have been a course facilitator, and can reccomend them highly.
They are fun and very informative, and you can meet a whole lot of new friends.

Hiya

I've attended an Alpha course before. It was alright, but I didn't feel, personally, that I gained a huge amount from it. However, the group I was part of wasn't particulary talkative and seemed to have a hard time starting a discussion....so my impression of it may be unfair.

I'd also recommend Christianity Explored to you. I found it very good.

You might want to consider a different viewpoint before embarking on an Alpha course so at least you can go into it with your eyes wide open?
