Of course I will put you on my prayer list. I was in a similar situation after my wife passed away. I honestly could not imagine being with anyone other than my wife but I was only 27 years old at the time. I prayed for God to help me trust in Him. That He would bring someone to me when it was the right time and asked for patience.

Friend trust me when I say I know what it's like to be alone and feel truly alone. I won't tell you that you're never alone with the LORD (even though it's true) because at the time when you have no physical connection it's of little comfort. God knows this, he even acknowledges that it's no good in Genesis that's why he makes us a companion. It hurts to be lonely, I've been there. I can't say that my situation has improved greatly but my outlook and understanding has and it's made things a whole lot better so I'll share the Lord's wisdom that he gave me and hopefully it'll help you. I'm a very introverted person but it's my job as a Christian to not only share the word of God but to care (to be nice) for everyone. When I finally realized the key to what Jesus was saying when he said those that loses his life for me will gain eternal life was when I stopped focusing on poor pitiful me, put myself in the rearview mirror and put other people first because it's not about me (God takes care of me and my needs, he loves me and watches over me. It's my job take care of others). Now I have more things and people in my life and they take precedence over the feelings of loneliness and the emptiness that I had before. I'm doing what I myself and all of us are supposed to be doing and actually feel fulfilled now. I have prayed and will be praying for you. I have no doubt that your situation will be better, have faith.
