I live in england and it seems like no one round here my age is a christian like me... it sucks because I could do with more christian friends :/ where are you all?!

Anyone else have trouble in their area finding christians your own age

Hey and welcome to CF first of all. It's great to have you here!
I know what you're talking about; that's how it goes in all Europe - it seems that only the elderly go to church any more. I used to have no christian friends either and everyone at my school was really negative about God, so it was hard trying to talk about it to anyone.

I guess you could try to find some friends at the church you go to - they must have some kind of youth group or Bible study for your age group? It's sure easier to be christian if you have some others to grow with. God bless and a happy Christmas!

Well, I think that you could find a few more people (in the very least) around your age and try evangelizing the neighborhood. If you can't even find a small group of people who are your age and go to church where christianity was a part of the culture, that's saying something along the lines of everyone should start praying and preaching. I'm not blaming you, but that's what can/should be done.

I am also from England and all through my life till I was 16/17 I only knew one other christian in my school (and to be honest he wasn't a strong christian but still a good friend). Im lucky to be in a modern church with others around my age, but I can see how it could seem as if there are very few other christians if they dont go to your church.

i am also from england.Luckily i go to a christian school ,where there are only 4 non christians.I actualy spend most my time with the non christians.

Yes it can be hard to find christians in their teens.My church virtualy no people my age

I am from England too
I also go to a Christian school but even so there doesn't seem to be that many Christians - it is their parents not them. Quite a lot have rebelled against their parents and are now atheists...
my church is very very traditional average age about 95... so can seem very lonely

I know people say you should go out and evangelize but it is difficult.

Yeah England is really turning into an atheist country it is a sad state of affairs really. We still have a large christian population but it is declining.

you know you can always try to have some friends outside the christian religion I have many athiest friends myself, they are pretty nice people I just don't talk about my religious views with them and respect their own beliefs and it turns out pretty nice.

Well yeah theres nothing wrong with being friends with atheists.... or talking to them about it without smashing it in their face
