Why does it feel like God doesnt answer prayer sometimes?

It may take me a min. or so to explain my thoughts. I will share them on the next post I type

With all my heart I believe God answers every prayer in perfect ways.

I have heard we can take a look at the spot in the Bible where an angel talked of being in some sort of battle so it took a while to get help for someone (OT) maybe that is one reason why we don't see answers right away...... but

Isn't it true that sometimes we don't see answers to prayer for many other reasons like ---

The timing is off, someone else's will is involved, our motives may be off, the thing we are asking for may not be part of God's plan and way of doing things, and things beyond our understanding.

I think the most important thing we can do when it looks as though God is not answering our prayers is for us to continue to trust Him.

Faith is still the substance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not yet seen.

Without faith it's impossible to please God.

We need to keep in HIS Word, keep in fellowship, and to keep believing that God knows what HE is doing and He won't fail us or forsake us. We need to keep the faith even when all else looks or feels bleak.

Maybe that's why people are told to beware of being moved by our emotions &/or feelings.

Yes, May the Lord help in your son's situation. If there's something you don't mind sharing on a post that all people on internet land can see - share it - no matter what prayer partners that see this post will pray

Rule of thumb is try not to post more than 3 posts in a row. If I understand things properly this is a good rule to follow to keep from spamming. I thought spamming had to do with sales and found out differently.

I have needed some oral surgery for some time; over a year. Getting it done at the end of the month, but meanwhile feel unwell.

I am trusting the Lord to take care of me because I have been prayed over and prayed for this for the whole time; I have to trust He is doing what needs to be done.
