I Have Sometimes Wondered If Some People Realize How Difficult It Is To Go On Without A Mate [whether The Loss Is Through Divorce Or Death] --- I Know After My Husband Died I Quickly Began To Realize The Need To Pray For Those That Are Leading A Single Life When They Really Didn't Want To Be Single.

It Makes Me Feel Good To See Someone Automatically Has Some Insight/compassion To Give Such A Well Wishes Type Of Thought To Another Single Person.

I Really Am At Peace About If And When. It Really Is In God's Hands In My Life. It's Been Prayed About, Explored, And I Am Waiting On The Lord To Lead.

If God Does The Leading I Am Happy.

Abusive marriage. Had been married for 17 years when I left with my kids.

Makes Perfectly Good Sense To Me.... But I Am Sorry You Were In Waiting For It's A Rough Time At Times. Then Should I Be Glad Because Somehow God Did Work All Things Together For Good For You.

I got to keep my daughter. She is the 14 year old now. My ex took my older son to another state (illegally). I did not get to raise him.

I was single (miserably) for 5 years, but I grew a lot, and I really needed to grow up. And I learned to be strong and rely upon God.

I remarried in 2004.

I never enjoyed being single. I had been married so long that even an abusive marriage seemed better than the loneliness....but...not enough to go back to him, because it was pretty bad.

This is going to sound stupid, but the hardest part was having no one to hold me, kiss me, look into my eyes, sleep with me, and ....you know all the rest.

Believe It Or Not Non Christians Are Capable Of Being Stronger In That Dept. Sometimes Than Some Christians But I Did Find Christians That Are Willing To Wait Even Though They Don't All Agree With The Biblical Teaching.

That's When You Know They Are Not Really Walking With The Lord And They Will Allow The Flesh To Determine How They Will Walk.
