  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Almost a year of TTC.

I know that seems like it's nothing to some people. This June, it'll be one year of TTC with no blessing. I keep fearing that I'm infertile, but my doctor won't check anything until we have been trying for at least a year. I'm 27, and my husband is 30, and we desperately want a child :(

Some people just have it harder than others!! You are still young, so I wouldn't be that worried, maybe try IUI.

Prayers to get your little bean soon!

Have you tried at-home options, like charting your basal body temperature or those kits that test ovulation hormones? It can be useful to know when you're ovulating, if you're ovulating regularly, or if you're maintaining the hormone levels (or elevated BBT) to allow a pregnancy. They're also great for getting an accurate due date if you do become pregnant! Good luck to you.
