you have lots than that in the post I've written..you have the origin of ALLAH's name and you have Christians who are using the name ALLAH as their lord the father
I agree that there was lots in that post, but what I said in reply seems true enough, and what you pointed to in this message here doesn't seem to be "proof" of much, either. At best it establishes that the word ALLAH predates Mohammad and that Christians in the Middle East also use it to refer to the God of the Bible. OK, it's a word that refers to God. That's about it.

Exodus 3:15 And Elohiym also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, 'Yahwah, the Elohiym of your forefathers; the Elohiym of Abraham, the Elohiym of Isaac and the Elohiym of Jacob has sent me to you.' That’s my name forever, the name by which I’m to be remembered, from generation to generation.”

Where in the Quran is God’s personal name Yahwah?
it mentioned the god of the torah without naming him

In other words, there is no such mention or reference to him except in the imagination of Moslems, just like the idea that Mohammed is actually named in the Old Testament.

Only because they have been deceived into believing that Allah was the God of Abraham.

You would do well to learn from ViaCrucis, one of the most respected, and learned, members of this Forum. You will not be any the wiser, of course; but you will be much better informed.

Allah was the God of Abraham. You just don't like even a tangential connection to Muslims.

Allah was the God of Abraham..
If he were the God of Abraham, doesn't it follow that he'd BE the God of Abraham as described in the Old Testament? The fact that he's considered to be the God of Abraham by certain people means nothing more than the belief of some other people who believe him to be the God of the Book of Mormon. The point is that these are all different from each other in many ways and so cannot be the same God.

The singular one is one and besides me there is no other Old Testament?

If two people belief different things about the same deity, that doesn't mean there's two different deities.

Or do you think there's a different God for every Christian denomination?

Muhammad used to worship the god of abraham before the revelation of islam

“ALLAH” is not a pagan idol

Read the post 27 from this thread you will understand

Allah is not the God of Abraham

The grandfather of Mohammad and his father used to worship the god of Abraham that is why he named his son as “Abdullah”

Being an idol worshiper is a great lie over the grandfather of mohammad and over his father

Wrong... The tribe of muhammad and the people of mecca had rejected the Torah and refused to become Jews and they rejected the Bible and refused to become Christians.. They remained pagan idol worshipers and thus where given over to be deceived by a fallen angel masquerading as Gabriel to create a false religion that would stand as an imposter religion claiming to be of the God of Abraham, which it never was and never will be..

Adstar... I'd encourage you to consider the following site that quoted has:

"Muhammad is also believed to be strongly influenced by monotheistic religions such as Judaism and Christianity, adherents of which had a strong presence in Makkah thanks to it being a hub of trade. Additionally, there was a group of Makkans called the Hanifs who are said to have rejected the idol worship of their people to follow their faith monotheistically. They considered themselves to be "the followers of Abraham" who was known to have preached a monotheistic faith. As some of these Hanifs were closely related to Muhammad, it is believed that he spent a lot of time discussing faith with them."

Before he founded Islam, what religion did Muhammad follow? • r/AskHistorians

Frankly, I believe Mohammedwas a text book schizophrenic, there was no angel, false or otherwise. That said, his followers still worship the same God as Christians and Jews, they just believe a bunch of "non canon" stuff about the deity. Much like Mormons.

Regardless of the truth, theres a lot of people who want "Allah" and "God" to represent different beings.
but where is the truth??? the truth is that there is no god but one in the whole universe..the god of Moses Jesus and Mohammad ...the god the father call him YHWH .call him anything you want still he is one god

well if you have read the web page about the mentioning of Mohammad in the OT you will at least think if that was true or wrong
