  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Which college football team would you most like to see get beaten by the Nebraska Cornhuskers?

I live in Kansas actually, but only about 5 miles in - I am originally from Nebraska and work in Nebraska - but work with a LOT of K-State fans... so, it's always a fun rivalry going on and I love when Nebraska beats K-State - Texas is another one, since they are rated so high and I also work with a HUGE Texas fan! ;)

Are you a member of any other message boards other than CF?

I am also a member of medhelp - it is a medical forum and after my 2nd miscarraige, I was looking for a place I could go to for support and to get questions answered. It's a great forum!

That is the only other one though...

Who are some of your favorite musical performers?

I pretty much love any type of music - but I especcially like Hinder and Creed. My fav country performers would be Tim McGraw and Martina McBride. I also like Roger Cooper - although he's not well known - he did a few concerts in our area and I got to know him a little bit. He is a christian singer.

Can you believe it is three more days until Christmas?

I saw this a little late - but now, I can't believe Christmas is over already! I had a long weekend off from work - but it went way to fast!!:D

What's the closest you've ever been to a tornado?

Actually, I've been very close to a few of them. The closest was about 5 years ago. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I had just gone out to eat. We were on a gravel road and it started hailing. He was a storm spotter so we stopped on a corner. All of a sudden, we saw it was getting really bad so we tried to head home. I was watching out the car window maybe 100 feet behind us and looked up and saw two tornados forming - then they kind of danced around each other and started moving our way. It was the scariest (but neatest) experience of my life! What scared me the most was going 110 mph on a gravel road. God was really watching out for us that day - we were lucky to get away. I tried to get him to stop at a house but he couldn't slow down in time - that house ended up getting hit by the tornado. Since then we've gotten a little smarter - and tend to stay ahead of them!
