there was a thread started a long time ago called "Do you believe in alien life?" Those who did outnumbered those who didn't and it was a verys strong thread, hilarious at times and other times pretty antagonistic. Here's the link:
http://foru.ms/t1229919

Anyways, I voted number 1 but I have to make it conditional. I do believe there is life on other worlds, and that they do come here. however I believe many "alien" encounters are actually demonic in origin... especially when dealing with Grays and abductions where horrible experiments are performed on people.
I see "encounters are really of God not aliens .." but what about demons? I know Ezekiel chapters 1,2 and 10 describe a saucer type craft, but we also need to know some alien experiences are demonic...
Sightings of UFOs are often other things, military craft, lights, etc. But there are real ones as well.

So I'll stick with "They are real, aliens from other worlds are among us" because it's the best choice there....

one thing christians always say whenever aliens are discussed is how sin and Jesus's death on the cross effects them. Well i had a though a while ago maybe aliens dont need to be saved. What if aliens (if they even exist) are animals God created?
My understanding of Christ is that he saved everything from death.
I'd expect that there would be more life out there than there is sentient life out there

"For God so loved the worlds..."
Right? Or does "the world" refer to lanets in general?
I believe that's a statement more closer to the meaning of an "everyone" type statement than referring to a literal planet.
However even if it did refer to the planet itself, it's talking about the God's love for this world, not the exclusion of his love from other worlds.

Well, I believe that the Greek says "cosmos," so, it would probably refer to everything that is.

I do believe there is alien life of some kind, someplace. I am neutral, leaning towards skeptical, about whether they have visited here. I think that most abductions are really sleep paralysis.
I am quite skeptical of the vast majority of UFO claims and reports as well.

Yes, I find it a little too...coincidental that they occur so often in bed, when the person is just about to fall asleep or just as they are waking up, and the people usually feel that they are paralyzed. IE: exactly the same thing as being hit by an "old hag" or a "night mare." Exactly the same thing as...sleep paralysis!

Citanul, by Savior, do you mean another Son of God? That would falseify The Trinity. If the Savior wasn't God Himself, it wouldn't have the same impact.

By Saviour I mean an aspect of God with a physical presence, just as Jesus was an aspect of God with a physical presence. Essentially Jesus in an alien form.

Does life exist on other planets?

Logically I would say yes.
Do they visit us?
Logically I would say no.
From what we know of physics it's just too hard to travel at any convenient speeds to other solar systems. It would take FAR too long to go to some other planet just to hover around it, kidnap people to poke and prod them and not introduce themselves. Or colonize said planet.

Of course, as our understanding is limited who knows if they are able to visit us. I find it very very unlikely. Is it possible? I guess so. But I'd sooner bet on us humans just being virtual simulations.
In other words - I really don't think we're visited.

I don't see the problem with the "salvation" of aliens. Since the Fall affected humans, Aliens aren't burdened by Original Sin and thus don't need to be saved.
Lest of course Heaven and Eden both are in an alternate universe where different laws exist, and upon making choices resulting in a fall into sin resulted in banishment to this universe.

I think I'll stick with what you just said though...

believe it or not, so am I. But while we can discount 99% what about the 1%?
My wife & I have seen and been through too much not to believe.....

my thoughts exactly. and it's that 1% that's really creepy..
Ever watched unsolved mysteries?
One account is very interesting, and comes from a multiple sighting with a foreign airforce.

Then would this alien saviour be a form of God, like Christ is?

This is a common argument using our limited knowledge of the laws of physics and the vast distances required to be travelled....
First we have to move over to the Quantum realm of physics rather than the Classical or Newtonian physics.
Actually we need to go even beyond that.

Aliens travel by means that are far different than what we take for granted. They do not travel in ships propelled by thrust and capable of limited speed. In fact "speed" has nothing to do with it. Time loops, relocation of information against the backdrop of the universe, things like that.
Test this theory. Reply to this post and when done click your cursor back up to the top of this window. Did you see it travel from the bottom up to the top or did it just disappear from one place and reappear in another place? All the computer did was shift the information. It didn't take any longer than how long it takes to click your mouse.... it happens instantly. I can shift the cursor from the end of a word to its beginning or across 100 pages of a word document. It takes the same amount of time. It is a shifting of information.
Apply this theory (which you can easily demonstrate right here) to a larger object. All objects are really information. Theoretically (in our minds) anything composed of information can be relocated to another place. Since all the universe is interconnected it is plausable that information can be relocated to any point within the universe.

Hence we solve the problem of aliens being able to travel vast distances.
