We call them entities. We meet them in a different dimension where time/space does not exist.I often wonder. Does this mean if Aliens are real do we all meet in heaven or are there other heavens.
An omnipotent God would be capable but it is the key act of sacrificing His son to enable this that I see as the problem. I just think God having to give his son over and over again and Jesus having to go through the whole ordeal on multiple times would make a mockery of it.Would not an omnipotent being be capable of holding a relationship with multiple civilizations?
I am basing things on the way evolution is claimed to work for life on other planets. If scientists are pointing out that for example water and some sort of breathable atmosphere are needed for life and they point out planets that occupy a certain zone from a star that displays the qualities of earth then it seems logical that evolution would produce similar life. Evolution claims many examples of convergence and how certain environments produced certain outcomes. For me water would produce similar life. That life would eventually move onto land and eventually end up in the same place we did. There may be other life that is not human life but when you consider the way evolution is claimed to work and the vastness of the universe with many earth like planets the chances of humanlike life being produced seems fairly high.If aliens exist they are not going to be humanlike. They will be so different that salvation won't work the same for them, if it even applies at all.
Ok, I was pointing out how evolution is claimed to be spontaneous in evolving intelligent life as opposed to being created by God. If intelligent life can evolve without God then it should be able to do it again and again if the conditions are right.Evolution is not the same thing as abiogenesis.

Possibly, but if you look at all the millions of species of life on Earth and see only a single intelligent species... it would seem reasonable to assume that it's rare.Ok, I was pointing out how evolution is claimed to be spontaneous in evolving intelligent life as opposed to being created by God. I agree that "everything else is just speculation". However, many of those speculations are based upon detailed observations, sound, current theory and well structured argument. Certainly opinions determine which point on a spectrum of possibilities is favoured, but suggesting opinions alone lie at the heart of the speculations is seriously misleading. As far as we know, Earth is the only planet in the universe that can sustain human life.
Everything else is just speculation based on opinions.
I doubt we're alone in the universe... but I'd believe alone in the galaxy.Total number of radio messages received from the rest of the universe so far: 0
Aliens might not exist, but we fundamentally haven't looked yet.
That could scarcely be called a serious attempt. When it was shut down it was costing a little over $2,000,000 a year. In what world is $2,000,000 a year to investigate something of such potential significance considered serious? We pay CEOs of banks more than that to mess up our economy and plunge countries into recession! We've looked quite seriously (remember SETI?), and heard nothing. The most likely explanation for that is that there's nothing to hear.

Where does the 'potential significance' part come from?.. In what world is $2,000,000 a year to investigate something of such potential significance considered serious?
They do exist, south of the border. They come north when they can, with or without a green card.If they exist would it be something to say of Gods true powers?
Getting people to think about such nonsense is one way of distraction/ deception from the truth, aimed at preventing people from finding Jesus, and to keep them out of God's Kingdom. i.e. don't worry at all, they are not real.I often wonder. Does this mean if Aliens are real do we all meet in heaven or are there other heavens.
I like the way you put that. We've looked quite seriously (remember SETI?), and heard nothing. The most likely explanation for that is that there's nothing to hear.
So, you are asserting that some speculations are not based upon "detailed observations, sound, current theory and well structured argument". Since anyone who has taken an interest in the subject should know these are present in more than one analysis. Thus, stating that such speculations are based only on opinions is patently false and thus my post is not an opinion, but a concise statement of fact.(In your opinion, that is).
Interesting. Which part is causing you a problem? Potential, or significance? If you doubt the significance of the confirmation of alien life, then I suggest the search may already be at an end, for we shall have found an alien living in our midst.Where does the 'potential significance' part come from?
